I think so. One of my favorite snacks is a square of Lindt 90% dark chocolate with natural almond butter on top...Yum

Way to go. You are looking gorgeous!

You can add me. I am low carb high protein. I'm on maintenance now, so I eat 1500 calories, but still do not eat my exercise calories. I will have a cheat day on the weekend, but usually that just consists of the same food, plus alcohol. I do insanity 6 times a week, but stick with month 2 mostly. Stats: 5'2" 128-130…

Hi I'm Joanne. I am 5'2" and have lost 17 pounds. I am now at my goal weight, but am continuing to tone. I eat a higher protein, lower carb diet with an open diary. To me this is not a diet, it is a way of life. I enjoy food and have found a great way to still enjoy it and be fit!

From what I read, it's not that you are only eating 1000 calories or less, it just that you net under 1000 calories after your workout. I do the same. When I was trying to lose, I was on the 1200 calorie program, but after burning my 600+ calories in exercise, I would net 600 a day. I'm not starving, I eat ofter throughout…

As I always say time and time again, it is not just the quantity of calories, but the quality of those calories. If you want to be lean and muscular, you should not be eating crappy sugary processed food. You should be filling up on lean proteins and healthy carbs. You will not get that 6 pack eating crap food. There is a…

Great job. Love the rocks in the jar idea

I eat cheese every day, and have gotten to my goal weight. So yes, eat cheese. Just like everything else, eat it in moderation
-
Nope. I could care less what everyone else is eating. Plus, though I am a very healthy eater, my husband and children like their snacks and ice cream. If someone wants to judge me on my cart, I just laugh. I'm fit and at a very healthy weight. Judge my cart all you want:wink: Oh and one other thing. I am gluten, wheat, and…

I don't really have "cheat" days, but I will drink alcohol on the weekend and drink back my exercise calories on that day. Your body needs that little shock every once in while so it doesn't get used to what you are doing

Peanut butter is actually a great protein I have in my diet. Just buy the all natural nothing added. She can have the crappy full of sugar one and when you feel the urge, have a spoon of yours. Or if her jar is unopened, take it to the food bank.

Way to go hun. You look like a whole different woman already! 65 pounds is a huge accomplishment all in itself. You can stick with it and will be where you want to be in no time. Don't give up on your goals!!

Unfortunately it just has to come down to what's more important. The cookie or your goals. We had Public Service the other week and had many things come in for the week. Muffins, cookies, ice cream, chips, hamburgers, pancake breakfast......I decided that 1 minute of food enjoyment was not worth all the work I have done…

Make a chickpea patty. 103 calories, packed with protein Or make some homemade hummus. Have it with some celery sticks. Eat some almonds

Good for you. I just finished my full second time around. Love it. You will be so happy with the results. Remember, you don't need to keep up with them on the video. So many people give up because they think they are failing since they find it hard to do all the exercises. It's just an hour out of your day for 6 days a…

Stop eating gluten, breads, sugars, and lower your carb intake.

Don't cross your rest days off. Just go for a jog on the days that you are away and can't do the insanity workout. You're body needs that 7th day rest

go ahead and add if you want. I am a 37 year old Mom, and the healthiest I have been in a long time.

Yes, it's never a bad thing to try to keep them engaged. I even try and keep them tight when sitting at the desk working.

Losing stomach fat really has nothing to do with a workout. You must reduce calories and the type of calories you put in your body. Breads, sugars, and carbs are terrible for belly weight. Reduce those and you will start to see a reduction in your stomach. To tone the muscle underneath the fat, do push ups, plank work,…

You can add me:)

I always do vodka and water with crystal light or Mio liquid flavoring. Only 69 cal for an oz of vodka!

I love carbs but don't eat many. I fill up mostly on protein. Keeps me full much longer than carbs ever did. But that is what works for my body and my flat tummy!

Clean out your cupboards of all cravings. Fill yourself up on lean proteins. Like with any addiction, if you cut out those bad foods completely, your body will eventually stop craving them. Go on the internet and find healthy substitute recipes for those that you crave. Also don't be fooled by "fat free" foods. They are…

Might I suggest my chickpea burgers? 1 1/2 cup chick peas drained and rinsed 1/4 cup coconut flour (or any flour of your choice) 1 carrot grated 1/3 of a bell pepper finely chopped (color of your choice) 2 TBSP masala sauce 1 TBSP low fat sour cream 1/4 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp garlic salt 1/4 tsp red chili pepper mash it all…

I am a big believer in "it's not the amount of calories we consume, it's the quality of those calories". I avoid all sugars, packaged foods, frozen foods, candy, breads, pasta, and of course fast food. Still need my wine or vodka and water on a Saturday though. I don't snack on chips or crackers. Ever since I gave up all…

So I'm confused. I thought I joined My Fitness Pal where we motivate each other to eat healthy and lose weight? Apparently it's "Let's insult one another and look like a bunch of immature morons"
