  • Record everything. Track your calories going in and out - get a heart rate monitor to really track your calories burnt. It's 70% diet so decide your goals go all in. Don't listen to the fad diets, everything is important. Carbs, fat - all very important in weight loss. It's a marathon NOT a sprint. Good luck! Go hard! Eat…
  • I used to (sometimes still) do a lot of emotional and binge eating. So I understand where you're coming from. I was watching one of those extreme makeover weightloss shows and saw that this is now a recognised and treatable addiction. Food addiction is apparently on par with drug addiction. Who knew? I guess the thing is,…
  • Look into eating and tracking tracking potassium too. Have a quick google of high potassium foods, tomato is my go to. Basically it acts as a diuretic and flushes the sodium from your body naturally. And drink water. Just do it.
  • Hey! I'm a vegetarian, very active and have just lost 20kgs (with more on the way). Feel free to add me!
  • Thanks Everyone for the adds - keep them coming! Hi Aurora feel free to shoot any questions through. I must say NC looks amazing from what I have seen! I grew up with Dawsons Creek and One Tree Hill so you can call me a fan of the area!
  • Hey! Feel free to add me - I'm crazy dedicated. Just going on a friend hunt myself! I'm down 35lbs in 3 months so far - almost at goal number 1.
  • Hey Angie, I'm Emily from Hobart. Feel free to add me, I'm always looking for friends on here!
  • Feel free to add me. Anyone! Im a little light on in the friend area here ;)
  • I love my FT7! I can't compare it to anything else though. Having the ability to track your calories in and out gives me control and knowledge. I couldn't recommend a HR monitor more after the past couple of months and my weight loss thus far. I you want one, get one - don't listen to the naysayers!
  • Hey there - couldn't recommend a HR monitor more! Definitely worth the investment. In regards to weight training I do high intensity weights meaning I maintain a high heart rate while throwing in some spin bike, cross trainer or rowing to keep HR high and exhaust muscles each set. I go from exercise to exercise quickly,…
  • Love it! I'm in too!! My personal trainer has been on at me about my push ups lately. At the moment I can do about 23 boy push ups without stopping but would love to be able to do 100 :)
  • I have put on weight since getting my first Implanon too, though this may be due to other factors... I used to be a baker right around that time and was getting over a badly broken leg so I couldn't exercise! I have had it for 5 years now. Started on my weight loss journey 5 weeks ago and not having any problems losing…
  • Hey there, I just got one with a strap and it's amazing. If you want to track calories only consider one with a strap. You'll need to hold your fingers over a strapless one to get a HR read so I don't see the point. You'll be surprised at how inaccurate the hand monitors are at the gym of the cardio equipment after getting…
  • Hi there, I've only just started (so I'm no expert!) but I've found Nature's Way Natural Protein Powder great. It comes in vanilla, chocolate or no flavor at all. It's cheap ($20 but cheaper at Chemist's Warehouse), available at the supermarket and delicious. It is higher in protein and lower in fat than those weightloss…
  • Hi :) I just found this myself! You need to be logged onto the website (not an app). You'll find the blog option under the community tab. Good luck
