  • I try to eat at least half of my fiber at breakfast (about 14 grams.) I mix two high fiber cereals together with fresh fruit and vanilla Greek yogurt.

  • I was totally upset after work today. All I wanted to do was eat all the cookies I could find or go buy an expensive purse. My NSV moment came when I started thinking about everything that was going on and decided I should go for a run instead!

  • It's tax free weekend here in Texas and I work retail. Needless to say the shift today was long and busy. Our managers are fabulous! They spent the day asking us how they could help, sharing compliments when they heard them and kept us motivated and happy. They also brought in pizza, cookies, and large bowls of candy.…
  • Cool website! I was spot on also. Very aware of what I look like and what I would like to change. As you can tell from the banner, I'm at the beginning of the journey. I wonder if my perception will change as I lose weight. Have a super Wednesday!
  • Mix 1/2 cup of Nature's path organic smart bran with 1/2 cup of their Sunrise cereal (vanilla or maple). Add berries and/or greek yogurt. Yum! Approximately 220 calories, 15 grams of fiber, low fat and sugar. It will definitely hold you until lunch!

  • Y'all are very funny people, especially this early in the morning! In addition to the great laughs, there were some great ideas. I look forward to trying them. @ dlpnrn2b - glad to know I'm not the only one. When I stopped running this morning, I decided I would go back and re-do this day until I had won the battle. I am…

  • Another teacher here, checking in! :D I'd love to participate. We got out of school on May 29. For the next several days, I woke up at 5:00 am and went ahead and worked out then. However, this week, several teacher friends and I are meeting each other up at the YMCA for classes. Its fun to see friends outside the school…
  • @bradthemedic- No, I don't really think I ate that much... Can you imagine if the 9 pounds was real?!? Holy Cow! BTW- Eating correctly, extra few minutes at the gym and I'm down 3 pounds in 24 hours, proof that the weight wasn't real.
  • blew my diet this weekend too... The scale went up 9 pounds! First of all, there's no way that is true weight. Probably 2-3 are. The rest is just a "false echo". Second, No guilt! We both did it. We knew we were going to do it and frankly, it felt great! Now it's time to come back to reality. Hit the gym, eat…

My favorite PJs fit ever so slightly less…
