Most women should aim for 25 grams of fiber per day, most men about 38 grams. I personally aim for 20 grams per 1,000 calories I eat, that usually helps me hit my goals.0

This from Harvard's Nutritionsource: "Fiber is an important part of a healthy diet, and you should get a least 20 grams a day, more is better. The best sources are whole grain foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, legumes and nuts."

I try to eat at least half of my fiber at breakfast (about 14 grams.) I mix two high fiber cereals together with fresh fruit and vanilla Greek yogurt.0
