I was WW also. Once I found the support at MFP I never looked back. The support is always changing at WW. It is the support that helps you along. If you stop the program no one can help you, but if you stick with it on either one it works and while WW changes always because of the fees, MFP generally remains the same.

Pretzels, veggie sticks and popcorn were helpful for me. I am here now because i went for quite a while with an un-diagnosed thyroid problem. no 5 or 10 pounds are worth smoking though. 12 years clean.

I am a Diabetic and I need to watch the amount of carbs I consume at meals and snacks. If I eat too many carbs my blood sugar rises higher than my medication can handle and I don't feel well. That being said I can eat most things depending on how little or much I want to eat. I can eat half of a candy bar for lunch but…

Hi thanks for the research tip. I will look that up. I have been reducing my carbs for the diabetes so have really only had Cauliflour rice till last night. I had one piece of Udies bread. Oh and I am eating grits. I would love the recipe.

Just my two cents. It sounds as if you are employing a great strategy for your age as long as you really don't count through weekend and eat a healthy 1000. Go back after 6 months and check with your gp if your period still hasn't started.

I drink 2 to 3 cups of coffee and the rest is Seltzer, sodium free, sugar free.

Hello I am new to the community. I use janumet and pioglitazone. My new endo is happy but my fasting is coming in around 130 and 140 all the time. I would prefer to be in the 100 to 120 range. So trying to figure out how to get there. Looking forward to new friends.

Hi I was a former WW. Have not tried the new program. I lost 44 with them and then 43 with MFP. I GAINED 60 back. Broken shoulder less activity and not watching what I eat. I like MFP the best. I have friends here to support me that I have had for years. My diary is open for accountability. It is free.

I also eat at night. I make room 8n my cals for ice ream, popcorn and sugar free jello. Find some you like that are not as bad , that you like and add them in.

Hi, I have hashis, it is an ongoing problem. I have lost quite a bit but put 30 pounds back on over January and december. I needed a med change and recently switched to and endo. My biggest piece of advice would be to make sure you feel good. Do not settle for you are in range. Complain or change until you feel well.

Most times a protien bar or shake gets me through. Oatmeal, apples and things like that leave me hungry earlier. Boiled eggs made ahead with some whole grain bread might work. A snack is a good idea also.

I have upped the amount of desired goal weight and set my calories to only one pound a week. I do not struggle at that point and it is easier for me to stay on track. I gained back 30 pounds due to diet and hormone issues between December and January. It is now coming off.

Yes there is always the trade off either added fat or sugar in addition to chemicals to help these foods become palatable. Frozen strawberries with a couple of teaspoons of sugar are so much more tasty, healthy and satisfying than a tiny cake from weight watchers or others.

One of the things I do is tell myself I must have a salad first. If I still want my treat after the salad I have it. Normally you can't eat as much any way if you do have it. You also get full pretty fast with all that salad.

Eating well also has some great recipes and very healthy. They are some of our family favorites.

Yes I have it. Right now I am symptomatic and my blood sugars are crazy. I hate being hypo and the weight barely comes off.
