You are doing so good this month with what you have given up. You could just try with those things for the rest of the month and then tackle crisps and what ever next month. Gives it some time to make a habit out of not having soft drinks etc. and then move on and tackle another problem. Best of luck to you.

I love ratatouille and am going to try roasting all the veggies on a rack tonight and see how that is. I love roasted vegetables and am curious to see how that will work.

If you are a diabetic too much fruit is also bad for you, so all the fruit you can eat is not a good option either. Letting go of the sugar completely and also the artificial sweeteners is the best way but it is also hard to do. If you can make it through the first week it gets a lot easier. The fruit begins to taste…

I like to take mine around 11a or noon. I have problems with eating after dinner and uf i take it a little later it seems to help with that.

I lost 5.6 my first week, so I am good with the program, however I do love peas, beans and corn and eat lots of chicken breast. I love making mexican style soups with the ground chicken and turkey. I am looking forward to seeing how it goes on. I certainly do understand the concerns though.

see if you can make some low calorie soup for him to snack on at night so that he doesn't keep eating the lunches. maybe that will help. there are lots of zero calorie soups. maybe it would help both of you.

When I was at bariatrics, I was told the same thing. I know however the first time I lost 87 pounds I did not eat breakfast. I am hypothyroid and have to wait to eat after I take my meds. I would take my meds then go to work and at my first break around 9:30a I would eat a snack and then eat my lunch later. This worked…

For me a low carb diet helps to block the cravings but those are not for everyone. Another thing you may find helpful is to use a couple of dates in the evening when you start to crave a sweet. They are intensely sweet and satisfying and may help you get past turning to pastries and such. Later you can move to other fruits.

I am now on day 2. So far so good. A little tired but no other problems. I am getting full fast. No cravings so far, however my big problem area is in the evening so we will see how it goes tonight.

As an update my numbers began to move back to the 140s and stuck. My first night off lo carb, my fasting was 110. T2 is fickle. Have gone to a bariatric clinic and will be working with them on diet and physio. Hope to get to try saxenda.

I am diabetic and hypo and in a similar situation. I have been trying to reduce my carbs since the first and the weeks that I reduce white carbs greatly I find the same thing. I have been coming in at around 1200 calories and not than hungry. The more gluten I eat the more hungry I become.

I need to loose that much too. I have bad knees and can't have surgery because of my weight please add me and any one else too.
