  • Hello Deborah. I can give a bit of insight as to what I've been doing. I'm still struggling but I know that I would weigh at least 30-40 more pounds had I not taken these steps. First, I had to get honest with myself about what was keeping my weight elevated. Emotional eating, an eating disorder, lack of control, possibly…

  • SW: 240 lbs GW: 200 lbs LW: 220.6 CW: 219.6 lbs Variance: -1 Overall Loss: 20.4 lbs This week was such a struggle with everyone's new schedule. I had 3 rest days which is more than I had allowed in the past but it was much needed. Moments like these would break me and destroy my entire program. Not this time! Onward!

  • When this first happened to me I absolutely felt something missing...oh yeah, my muffin top. ( I have a mini muffin top now if that :-)) I didn't realize that my arms rubbed before this. I'm still getting used to my body taking up less space, even if it is only 20% less space at this point. It makes a difference!

  • I wish that we could just ban the scale, seriously. It has this hold on some of us (me included at times) even when we see progress in other ways. You have lost inches so you are more than likely losing fat. I've said all of this to say that I understand your plight but non scale victories need to get more props than we…
  • -I'm going into week 9 of healthy living...my longest stretch yet! -I was able to run around Six Flags with 2 of my sons and I wasn't out of breath! -I'm starting to see muscles pop out of places that used to be smooth and fluffy! -I've been pushing pass any excuses that would have halted my progress in the past…
  • The longest streak that I've had for consistently working out and watching my intake had been 8 weeks. Sunday will start 8 weeks and I'm looking forward to hitting 9 weeks of loving myself!

  • Hello dear! This doesn't sound strange at all. When I was gaining weight, I was binging for comfort. My new body, now 70lbs heavier, was my "fat suit" and my protection. I often am afraid of losing my protection as well. While I know it is healthy to not be as heavy and shed the excess weight, I'm not quite sure yet how I…
  • Hello Phoenix11rising. So, Saxenda has worked really well for me. I'm also an RN and am also overcoming an eating disorder. I don't have side effects usually. I have found that I did get a bad headache and nausea when I started my workout plan because I wasn't eating enough. As far as a long term tool, it's imperative to…
  • I just completed wk 7 day 1. I'm running slower to make sure that I'm able to complete the entire run without breaks. I'm really enjoying my progress this time around but I do find myself anxious about my next run. I'm still embarking, however!
  • This is my 3rd time trying C210k and I always dreaded week 3. Today I finished w5d1 and I feel fantastic! 5 minute runs...bring it!
  • Love this chain!
  • I was diagnosed with binge eating disorder in December of last year. Knowing that there is a name for the crazy food cycles and emotional cycles that I would go through has at the very least not made me feel crazy. My metabolic specialist prescribed a medication and I'm currently in counseling. This has been very…
  • Couch to 10K restarted. I'm a little late with checking in but I'm up to Week 2 Day 3 to be completed later today.
  • Hello Ladies. I'm back with my Couch to 10K program and restarting lifting. I hope to see some of you around!
  • Hello all. In using Saxenda, I started off with the medicine giving me a huge appetite craving and I thought that this would be much easier than it had been in the past. While it is easier, there still takes a ton of will power on my behalf. This is not to say that the medicine isn't working but it is to say that Saxenda…
  • Hello, So, if you read all the way through you will see that the thyroid cancer was noted in rats and that people with a family history of a very particular type of thyroid cancer should be cautious. This trend has not been seen in humans without this history. As far as pancreatitis, if you read all the way through, this…
