I didn't weigh in last week so this was over two weeks ago since I checked in. My bad.

After reading some of the experiences here with WW it reminded me about a recipe for a crustless pumpkin pie. Our leader was telling us the points were so low you could eat the whole pie. Eating whole pies doesn't teach me portion control. I know her intentions were good but I needed to know how to eat real food in the…

I am so glad I found this post. I have been pretty depressed about how much weight I've gained in the past few years and was considering going back to Weight Watchers. I've been a WW member three different times, starting with exchanges back in the '80s up to when fruit became 0 points. I had lost 60 pounds but kept…

Feel free to add me too! I need to drop about 70 lbs. and I can't seem to get motivated.

Glad I checked in here. I'm a former WW, 3 times, and lost each time. I had considered going back but hearing you guys makes me reconsider. I don't think I could handle the change in the points system as I tend to be a carb lover. I do need to buckle down with MFP though. It's a daily battle.

I can definitely tell a difference. Keep up the good work!

Your story sounds a lot like mine. I had lost about 60 pounds about 10 years ago using Weight Watchers. But even as I continued to go to meetings my weight would climb up a pound, down a half, up a pound until I gained a lot of it back. Then I quit smoking and turned 50 in the next year. While giving up smoking I too told…

I've been here for a while but don't have many friends. I could use more friends and extra motivation too. I sent you a friend request. Anyone else that wants to friend me may do so too.

Would I be going out on a limb here if I said I thought the OP's message was to love yourself as you are and not what you think you might need to be? I couldn't watch the video but I'm guessing it's message was the perfect are not perfect?

I was a former Weight Watcher but for a longer period of time - 10 years. I did manage to lose 60 pounds but over the course of time ended up gaining it all back. I said the same thing you did, why pay someone to tell you you've gained. I will confess that I started MFP awhile ago but lost my way and am back now. I too am…

You look absolutely awesome!

This describes the way I feel most of the time. I have to go to a conference next week for 3 days for work by myself. It's going to be a struggle to do any networking.

I'll have to remember this next time I cook chicken.

I've been here about the same amount of time and weighed in this morning and gained a pound. I would take you five pounds any day. While I'm not happy with today's results I took my measurements (which I hadn't before) and maybe I'll see some changes there. I figure I have two choices: quit and go back to bad…

<----Been there. I like to cook with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

I'm so glad you went and everything is being taken care of. And thanks for letting us know how it turned out.

I'll be 53 in June and have just recently gotten serious about using MFP. The one thing about this site that has impressed me so much is how supportive everyone is. You couldn't find a more supportive group of cheerleaders. Feel free to add me as a friend.

You didn't cheat and look at my profile did ya cause you're only off by one year. I'm 52 (53 in June).
