I just attended a seminar at school about motivation and how it affects your academic career, and it applies itself really well to other situations. Like other members have stated, motivation HAS to come from within, or else it won't last you to your goal, or it motivates you for the wrong reasons. Find a goal, stick to…

A panda and a monkey... Great! Now, if they were real and not stuffies, I would be okay...

I'm 5' 3-1/2" (gotta add the extra 1/2" hahaha) and my goal weight is 125, but I'd be happy up to 135. I'm currently in a size 10, and I'm hoping to wear a size 8 (those are my goal jeans that I bought in Tokyo in 2009)

Processed foods is the cause of my over-eating. Chips, cookies, regular pop, ice cream and chocolate were a daily thing for me, but now that I'm more aware of what I'm putting in my body, I've cut out most of that, and I can get by on WAY less calories.

I only drink in social situations. When I go out with friends, we usually drink and then head to Mickey D's for a large amount of fries. Not good, so I've switched to only drinking diet pop when we go out. And to put it in perspective, I go out maybe once every 4-5 months. I'm a broke university student. I'd rather buy…

Having people yell at you because it's my fault that their fish died... Also having to pull dead fish out of tanks without gloves. It's gross having to pull fuzzy mollies and platies. And some of the part-timers that don't know how to scrub algae from the glass fronts... -_-"

I take fresh fruit, and freeze it. That way, I still get the fruit I need daily, but I also get the dessert-ish feeling of ice cream/sherbert at the same time. Also, avoiding chocolate in my house is NOT possible, seeing as I live with a family of chocololics, so I will probably have some, but I'm going to track it all so…

I find that drinking a lot of water helps keep me feel fuller for longer.

I'm a 19 year old Education student, trying to lose around 50-60 pounds. Feel free to add me! :) (I need a swift kick in the butt somedays, so having people to motivate me would help!)

Same here! Also, adding cayenne pepper in your socks helps to keep your feet warm. I kid you not!

Totally! I have nobody in real life that believes that I can actually accomplish what I have set out for myself - and my family is in that group! Also, If I don't sign in daily I feel like I'm letting them down. I've tried doing MFP alone and I always end up quitting because I don't believe in myself. The few connections I…

My current favourite is Gogi Pop from David's Tea, but other than that, I can't have tea.
