I was wondering this too...like if I make a salad with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and shredded carrots, then added croutons and dressing...could I just count the croutons and dressing....it seems like the veggies are going to be burned quickly throughout the day in my opinion. I love having breakfast in the morning...I am up at 530-545ish and get to work by 730am...I have my coffee and ususally am not hungry til about 845-9am...I have a desk job now, so I have oatmeal with fruit...works for me...Eat when you're hungry timing doesn't matter.

Actually my mom and I are doing a "40 miles in February" challenge...walking/jogging/treadmill/elliptical/whatever! As long as we do 40 miles by the end of February...averages about 3.3 or so miles 3-4 times a week...feel free to add us if you'd like! hers is---> chillinginjax...good luck to you!

I weigh in every sunday after i've been up for about a half hour...but i will hop on the scale throughout the week just for fun :tongue: it's crazy to see it's ups and downs...as long as i'm good by sunday. Best wishes to you!

I buy regular groceries....just stay within my calories...eggs are great for breakfast which is what I have just about everyday...love my egg sandwiches :) I also have an apple either with my breakfast or snack afterwards. Well I'm 5'4" and I have also gained 60lbs over the past year! I haven't measured myself yet but will do this weekend. This works better for me because I am built solid. It's really weird because no one ever believes how much I weigh. We can do this!
