I work in a hospital. My time here has led me to be terrified of diabetes and I was on the road to it for sure. Not gonna let that happen.

But if it weren't for Kinkade, how would mall-based "art stores" stay open. Think of the malls!

I used to think I was a misanthrope until reading some of these responses. I'm suddenly feeling the need to reassess.

I tend to hit the gym at 0500, so there aren't that many people there. Always say "hey" to the employee that opens the place and throw out a smile and head nod/wave to other regulars as I'm moving from place to place (and they're not obviously in the midst of straining themselves). Beyond that, don't really interact or…

6'3" give or take. Among my friends I'm on the shorter side >.>

Well... this took a surprising turn. And for the better. "Thanks - it's amazing how much conflicting advice there is when I google these things " Always look for the sales pitch and you can spot a huckster every time :-)

I'm afraid I might wind up binging.

As others have pointed out, the sodium is a big factor in water retention. Not positive what "eating clean" is in this instance (since it has so many definitions), but even nutrient dense foods ("healthy" foods) need to be monitored for caloric intake. Going over on calories is the same whether by eating an apple or eating…

You've got those answers mixed up.

Thank you! Mr. Idol needed to be here.

But things can still get a little timey-wimey shifted. Poor little Amy Pond, waiting all that time for the Doctor to come back out...

Hm. Perhaps I should be concerned about my wife's recent coffee addiction...

Good man!

I've gotten my revenge. Working in maintenance for a time, guys were always taking whatever was in the fridge. A little spoiled milk here, a bit of laxative there... people learned to leave my food alone.

Telepathic channel surfing!

"the control device without the use of the remote control makes a lot of movement. " So... how does this work exactly? Jump up and down until the TV vibrates enough and changes channels?

Any more I'll throw in 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of dry oatmeal when I make smoothies. By the time it's all blended up, it's hardly noticeable. I don't mind oatmeal in general, but it's not my first go-to breakfast option. And when I do go for it, I'll usually make it with almond milk and maple syrup.

I was the slow kid on the cross country team. What I lacked up in speed I made up for in being stubborn. In gym class, though, I was the fast one  Yay for a change in competition!

Dr. Oz truly lives up to his name as the man behind the curtain. Pay him and his bag of tricks no mind.

I work in a pediatrics clinic. I either tend to get hit on by moms, or so-young-it's-not-even-funny. The most recent, and worst, was a 4yr old who approached me while I was entering vitals into the computer. She began rubbing my arm and, no joke, said, "When I'm older I can do what I want with you." I felt so... violated.…

Use it for cooking now and again, but sometimes olive oil just can't be beat.

I'll throw another boat in for baking them in a muffin pan. Can do a whole batch, refrigerate, and pull them out ready to go as needed. Go great with a little salsa on them. Or, you can beat them, throw in a little ham and veggies and make little omelette bites to go. All up to your personal tastes, but it's a pretty handy…

I've seen others comment that treadmills and the like can be wrong by up 30%, usually in the overestimation side. The numbers on the machines tend to be fairly general, even if you're entering your weight and such. Keeping accurate track of you're heart rate will give you the best reading.

Heaven help the people making the cake, floral arrangements, DJ, and anyone else involved... Just because she's getting married doesn't mean people are obligated to throw her parties. If she had a set thing in mind, she needs to be the one planning it; not expecting someone else to read her mind and pony up for it.

Same. Hate me some dry water.

But I like crossing my eyes while kissing. It's like autoerotic asphyxiation without the oxygen loss.

Go based more off your weight than strength. Punching involves a lot of the body and depending on your size, a 50-60 lb bag is going to be too small. Something around half your body weight is the general rule of thumb.

This. I no longer have the bag for fear of being killed by my wife.
