Hi Tammy! Congrats on your up coming surgery! I felt the same way also. I'm a month and a half out 6 weeks. And doing fantastic! The best thing I did next to having a hysterectomy. Good luck and keep us posted. Syn

12 months for me, my insurance required me to take nutrition classes and psych classes for six months. Once the class was done and the instructors cleared you, they would send a letter to your insurance and pcp letting them know your done and recommended for surgery. Then you started your preop appts. Gloriabemude, did they give you a binder to wear? It helps a lot with the pain and feeling of pulling. My incisions are still tender but I feel really good. Everybody heals differently, give it sometime. Keep me posted I hope you feel better soon. Syn

My Surgeon also said to avoid NSAIDS completely as well, they cause stomach problems .

Call your primary DR. You will get his/ her answering service and let them know why you called instead of going into urgent care. They will advise you and maybe call in a rx for you. It's worth a try. Good luck. I hope you feel better soon.
