I wish my feet would shrink is both directions. But I went from a 14D to a 14 Narrow and no one makes 14 Narrow.

Old Bay is good on a lot of vegetables.

I want to be using the 5th extra hole I punched in my belt by the middle of the month (currently the 4th is a little loose) and have to punch a new hole by the end of the month. I'm refusing to buy any new belts because punching holes is much more fun.

I had no idea how hard it would be to find clothes at clearance sales. S, XXL, and XXXL, tons of stuff. Other sizes, not so much.

Good idea with the bags. I'll have to try that out. My chicken hasn't fallen apart, but a lot of the onions end up in the body cavity. Also sometimes there will be a couple of pieces of skin in the final product, which is pretty gross, but that could be me doing a poor job of separating the chicken before putting it back…

I love making chicken and dumplings from a whole chicken, which I doubt I would have ever done if I didn't have an instant pot. I use the following recipe but substitute dumplings for the noodles, and add in more of all the vegetables. https://www.number-2-pencil.com/instant-pot-chicken-noodle-soup/ I also like making…

I'm working on completing a 30 day streak with meeting my nutrition goals and exercise every day. 5 more days to finish this one. Luckily the completion of this one coincides with a work team building trip that includes the cheesecake factory. I'll be able to splurge a little on the calories before starting a new streak…

They actually don't. Serving sizes are set by the FDA, not by the company. Here is an article that describes the process and the ongoing updates. https://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm386203.htm

The problem with Samoas is that they only sell them in single serving boxes.

Do you have a specific 5k in mind? A lot of them post results from previous races online. You can look up by your age and gender and see where you would have finished.

I don't see any red flags. Here is the ingredient list for the marinara sauce version from Safeway. Cooked Green Lentil Zucchini Rotini Pasta (Water, Green Lentil Flour, Zucchini, Egg White), Sauce (Water, Tomato Paste, Olive Oil, Onions, Mushroom Base [Sauteed Mushrooms, Mushroom Extract, Salt, Flavoring], Canola Oil,…

Squatting 80% of your deadlift sounds normal to me. What are your goals?

I just walked down to the breakroom and realized that my fitbit is currently charging. I had one of the warehouse guys take me back up to my office on a hand truck.
-
A generous sprinkle of Old Bay is all I need.
-
Any saying about processed foods that could be put on a bumper sticker probably won't help you make better diet and life choices.
-
Maybe you should contact fitbit. I've had both the charge 2 and the ionic and neither will show sleep information if I didn't wear it.
-
Probably not the first, but I took a flight a couple of years ago and realized that if I gained another 5 pounds then I would need a seat belt extender. I knew I wasn't going to let that happen. I still have a little ways to go, but on my last few flights the tail of the seat belt can reach the seat in front of me while I…

It is their #2 (sometimes #1) best selling flavor.

Unless the Canadian version has cocaine or toys embedded in them, I don't think you need to hide that you are shipping them into the states.

I used to commute by bike past the Jelly Belly factory. All summer I would watch the candy corn plants grow. In the fall, just as the leaves were starting to fall, it would start to ripen. I loved those days. I would pull my bike to the side of the road and grab an ear or two. If you haven't had fresh candy corn right off…

I did the whole minimalism tidying up thing in every room but my kitchen. I haven't been able to part with any of my beloved kitchen tools yet. The things that get the most use are my mandoline slicer, instant pot, death box, and immersion blender.

Congratulations! For me the final run wasn't any harder than the 20 minute run, but a couple in between were tough. I did steal something from cyclist Jens Voigt that helped me complete it. Any time I felt like stopping, I would yell in my head "Shut up Legs!" and kept going.

"*Kitten* snow, how does that work? Scientists lying to us and making us *kitten*"

I had to very quickly go and check that the item like this I put on my secret santa wish list for work doesn't have those unique multi-purpose handles. Luckily it doesn't. That could be embarrassing.

I'm aiming to use the 5th extra hole I punched in my belt before Christmas (currently on the 4th). Then I could securely tuck the tail of the belt into the side loop of my pants. I could just buy a new belt, but where is the fun in that?

I would take those fruitcakes any day. I might even eat some.

That is why location is so important. My gym is a 9 minute walk or a 5 minute drive (lots of stop signs and drunk tourists to avoid). So even when I don't feel like going to the gym, I go anyway. If I only work out 20 or 30 minutes, that is 20 or 30 more minutes than I would have worked out at home. On those days where the…

I like them and think they should be allowed anywhere a normal bike is allowed. My next bike will be either one of those or a new under seat steering recumbent. I'm leaning towards the recumbent because I could maintain 25 mph for my 11 mile commute on my last one, but going up hills easily is looking pretty good to me too.

I for one believe you on this. Zero is a number after all.

I don't have either with 60 miles of me. What I do have is a variety of locally owned and operated donut shops. They all kind of suck though because of the lack of competition of good donut shops like Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts.
