Need to get new shoes ASAP! My right knee is twinging a bit. I know what shoes I like to wear, love the New Balance Minimus Trail and Brooks Pure Connect; I flip flop between them. What do y'all like to run in?

I just started using the Microsoft Band2 ($250) and I love it! I has GPS, strapless heart rate monitor and a barometer (altitude)! I used to use the Garmin 405 until mine recently crapped out and was more expensive to fix than it was worth. My husband (who uses a Polar HRM with chest strap) was wanting a new watch, too, so…

I'm (almost) 1/3 of the way there and (just over) 1/3 of the way through the month... Have to jump on those runs! :D Too bad I'm spending all day today hanging up Christmas lights! I'm trying to get it done because we're supposed to have a wetter/colder winter here in TX and don't want to be high up on my roof when it's…

Late to the ticker game, but here I go! I'm aiming for 75 this month as I'm really just getting back into it and having family come into town for the Thanksgiving week. I used to run my current monthly goal weekly (yeah, usually more than 300 miles/month).... Anyways, hello y'all from McKinney, TX!

OMG- we're soul mates! I thought my husband and I were the only ones who love cold pancakes with peanut butter. Everyone else turns their noses up.

I've always performed better in a race or running in general when I add intervals to my running. Here's a HIIT workout that I've been using these past couple of weeks and I love it! The trick is to find motivation to push it. http://toneitup.com/2015/09/new-workout-fit-for-fall-hiit/

YES! I don't want to think about private islands and eating crap. Usually watching those shows makes me eat healthier, puts me in 'island mode'. :D

I love eggs! Don't worry about your consumption of 2-3 per day (sometimes more). I would think that's fine. If you're looking for a great egg dish, try Eggs in Purgatory... I usually use leftover veggies in it! Yum!!! This is just one of MANY variations. http://www.nigella.com/recipes/view/eggs-in-purgatory

I chop them into salads. Don't notice the head of it's all chopped up into a salad. Keep trying, they're so good for you!

You can, and should, give in to cravings on occasion. What's a healthy body without a healthy spirit? For most days though, find a delicious healthy pancake recipe, like one made with almond flour, egg whites and banana... There are plenty of bad healthy pancake recipes out there, too. You just have to try until you find…

Girl, I eat whatever for breakfast, and if you ask my family, in weird combinations sometimes! Rock on with your strange breakfast self as long as YOU liked it! My hubs thought it was weird when I baked eggs in a spicy tomato sauce and topped it with some parmesan cheese.... until he tried it. Then he heard it was a…

Coffee is life! I usually make a large French Press worth in the morning. After I have my morning hot cup, I'll let the rest sit & come to room temp. For lunch, or with lunch (depending on my day), I pour coffee in my Blender Bottle & shake it up with ice & a scoop of two of protein powder. Hello Mocha! My husband loves…

^^^This is a great idea! The chia expands and is really filling! Easy to do a few days worth all at once. Soaking a tablespoon in a cup of almond (sub any other) milk (in a jar overnight) can be awesomely filling. Just shake, take off the lid and drink! Just watch what's actually in the milk you're drinking, if it's a…

My 10 yr old daughter is not overweight at all. A very active, healthy kid who is actually pretty slim (naturally). However, no matter how slim or not-slim, a kid can always learn healthy eating habits. No, my daughter does not count calories, and probably couldn't tell you how many she needs in a day. She does know how to…

I'm not, but I know plenty. There are some famous pescetarians, as well.

Took several days off due to being sick. We'll see if I can make it 75 this month.

This is great! Thanks! I actually do faux-tato cakes with shredded jicama. The texture is just a bit more satisfying for me. I will try the yellow squash, as I believe it would be a great accompaniment to steak.

I'll surpass the goal today. I think I'll up my goal.

Accepted!

Woot Woot! Almost there, dare I up my own challenge to 75?!
-
Almost done!

Wow! That was rough. I think I did the extreme super challenge. 11 sets of 10 (so 110 of each move), full pushups, double crunches while holding a 10# weight against my chest, and 20# weighted squats. Phew! Good luck everyone and thanks so much to @jesindc

SUPER CHAAALLLLEEENNGE! (said in a big, manly, echoing Sunday-night-football, kinda voice)

3 miles added yesterday... more to come! Whoop whoop!

So far so good!

Challenge accepted!
