  • Hey there. Congrats! How far along are you? Im just about finished..5 more weeks to go! This is a great site for managing and gaining proper weight during your pregnancy. I've put on 22 lbs but I've managed to do it slowly with the help of this site..Good Luck..
  • Hey all. Im not really new to this site, I actually discovered it about a year ago. However, I have not used it since becoming pregnant 7 months ago. I was curious if anyone else on here is or has used this site during pregnancy and had any tips for after baby is born. Or maybe to control cravings? :grumble: Thanks.

  • I want to be able to say something really great here :ohwell: but Im not sure what..except that I think a lot of people (myself included) deal with body image distortion. Im at a healthy weight right now..but for some reason it doesnt seem good enough. I definitely know what it's like to be unsatisfied. I guess maybe the…
  • I've been using Slimquick extreme for about 2 weeks now. So far it's great (and I am not one to promote diet pills) but this one has a lot of natural qualities and doesnt make me feel jittery at all. It's been great as an appetite supressant.
  • How much do you weigh now? Im about 5'1 and Im at 115 right now. I'd say I look healthy but I still want to be 110 (I think it's a mind thing) The mirror...err..your mind rather will play tricks on your self-perception. At 5'2 you probably look great. Congrats on reaching your goals! I agree with the other posts...post a…

  • Two days ago I did some serious yard work around my house and somewhere along the way, I picked up chiggers. So I wake up this morning...COVERED...Litererally covered...head to toe all over my neck...in these horribly disgusting, itchy swollen bites.... Ohhhh...it's disgusting!!! :explode: and it itches so unbelievably…
  • Lol..I looove MRE's, they are just the perfect little pack. My hubby is a Marine and I have to admit I am guilty of snacking on more than one of them.. However they are calorie packed (for good reasons) If you pick and choose though, you'd be ok. Stay away from the high cal pound cake and those types of things.…
  • Well....hmm..it started great...a great Veggie Salad with trail mix and carob chips. And now it's 7:30 and everything after that has pretty much gone down hill. Lol...oh well tomorrow is Monday..a whole new week thank goodness...
  • Marine Wife for 2 years now! Ooh Raa!
  • I have small cherries on my right hip and a teeny tiny infinity symbol on my left ankle. The cherries were an 18 year old "mistake" but I still love em I suppose. I had my tongue pierced for 5 years but took it out once I was married. And I had my nose pierced for all of 2 days.... I had the courage to do it but it…
  • That's so great! Lots of love and prayers go out that way....ask her to send some baby making mojo my way... :drinker:

I've been in a funk for quite some time...:grumble: Welll today I got myself up, had a GREAT breakfast and accomplished some tasks and despite the hurricane type weather, I got my booty to the gym and had the best workout in awhile.. • When I make my salads I love crumbling up just a teeny bit of ramen noodles into it. Not so much for the taste but just for that crunchiness. My co-workers think Im weird. :ohwell: I was curious if anyone had any other suggestions that are low cal or (hopefully) no cal... it's really hard to log the calories for the ramen…
  • Thanks! We really did have a great time and I definitely recommend it...the Vatican is amazing and the Sistine Chapel..incredible. We did Rome, Assisi, Santa Maria, Florence, Pisa and Sienna in eight days.. Funny thing though...the pope came to DC the same time we were in Rome!!
  • My hubby and I just came back from the best Vacation ever....Italy. It was so great... Anybody else been somewhere really neat?
  • "Out of sight, out of mind" Yes Yes....the bread is now in the freezer and the peanut butter is hidden far far back in out of sight cabinent land!!! Thanks ya'll. Have a great Sunday!
  • Ok no need to reply, but I definitely feel the need to air some dirty laundry. Thank goodness for this site, without the accountability I might pretend this never happened! :blushing: My hubby went back to training last night, after dinner and around 8:30.... I was just hanging out with myself when the munchies hit me and…
  • Geritol? Is that over the counter?
  • I know I know....:blushing: You're all right. Thanks for the advice...
  • Just curious if anyone has had any trouble getting pregnant while monitoring calories? My husband and I have been "trying" for almost a year with no success. I've always been very concious/overly concious of what I eat and typically stick around 1200-1500 cals. Is it possible that "dieting" could be hindering me? :grumble:
  • Same ol' 1/2 cup plain oatmeal 150 cals 1/2 cup lite fruit 50 cals I try to have a real low calorie breakfast since my hubby isnt home ( ) I tend to binge at night out of boredom. If any one has any great low cal breakfasts Im all ears  Have a great day!
  • 1/2 cup natural rolled oats 150 calories 1/2 cup tropical fruit 60 calories  Yummy
  • Some weight loss companies say that non-starchy veggies and salads are free foods because the calories are so low. What do you think about this? Do you log it as calories when you eat veggies or salads? Today I have a raw cabbage salad and green beans and Im not sure if I should log them or let them be free? Thanks.
