I log after everything I eat. This keeps me accountable. I know if I eat it, I have to log it so that helps me to think twice about putting it in my mouth, lol.

Yeah, I thought that way too until I was standing naked in front of a full length mirror...that's a major wake up call as to how far I had let myself go. Its great that you have that good self esteem, but at your height and weight, it just isn't healthy so think about your health and not how fat you do or don't look.

Wow...everything I've read about that diet is really bad...it's something I wouldn't do. Too few calories...not good for your body IMHO. :indifferent:

You say "This diet"...what diet are you on? I'm on a low carb, high protein diet also counting calories, so really we can't give you any advice on recipes if we don't know what your diet allows. If you could elaborate a little more that would be helpful. :wink:

I am an avid hunter and my choice of lean red meat is venison. It only has 18% of calories from fat. I have it at least three times a week. I feel weak without it.

I'm 48 and have found it hard to lose with just that fact alone..it is much harder to lose now than when I was young. I had a belly just appear over the summer too.

I did that too. My answer to that problem was not to make food that easy to just grab. All of the food I have in the house now is food that needs to be prepared to eat. I have a family of 6 and this has stopped the constant snacking too for them as well. I also cut up veggies ahead of time like celery, carrots, radishes…

Not for me. I have heart problems...a lot of those drugs affect heart rhythm and blood pressure. They are definitely no good for you at all....cause way more harm than good.
