Lots of great advice for me in this post! Without a doubt, I am the tortoise in my journey....that's for sure. I can over complicate this, better than most; however, your comment about "not having to start over" really sunk in for me. Thanks for that!

Very impressive. Congrats to you.

That's a great accomplishment! Congratulations.

Very impressive!! You look great.

Congratulations on your progress! I think your story is much more common than unusual. Your story is inspirational.

I received my case of chips (all three flavors) about a week ago. I ordered a box of each flavor. My impressions are this: 1. Like the flavors (my order of favorites are cheddar, BBQ then sea salt. Love the onion flavor in the cheddar and sour cream) 2. Like the calorie and protein amounts 3. Liked the ability of replacing…

Absolutely she can access my phone. Without her and my kids helping me with the frickin' thing, I couldn't make it work. Mine does have a passcode but they all know the code. After 22 yrs. of marriage, if she hasn't seen it or heard it by now......

I just ordered 1 box of each flavor. I will let you know if they are good.....at least to me.

Great question. I'm looking for some advice on this, too.

Congratulations! You look great.

I have been buying Asics Kayano's for many years. I replace them approximately every 400 miles of walking and/or running. I walk (working treadmill desk) about 22 mi/week and run about 7 mi/week. I am wearing Gel Kayano 20's as I type.

I can tell you what happened to me. I started on the MediFast program (VLCD) and the weight came off. I lost over 35 pounds in around 90 days (Oct 23-Jan 15). This was controlled eating. Unsustainable but controlled calories of around 1000 per day. Too few calories...lethargic, moody, hard to focus on things, etc....and…

Thanks for this info. I, too, find this information confusing. I have almost achieved my weight loss goals and now starting to look at a transition stage. I have been dabbling in adjusting my intake amounts with mixed success, IMO. I have found that I need to become better at tracking (measuring/weighing) my intake. I have…

I just printed this. I hope to make them soon.

That's a lot of information that now needs to go in my "should know this" file. I like shakes, throughout the day, as a meal replacement. They seem to work for me. That's about as scientific as I can get currently.

I am interested. This is great!

Bumping for later.....this is interesting stuff for me. I just need to understand it better.

Bump for later.

I am an "instant gratification" guy; therefore, I usually weighed myself several times per day. However, I only log my early morning results. I am using this info to establish a matrix for me. I have been doing this since October 23. I do take measurements, too. These have only been monthly and now I will do them more…

I turned 47 today. Since October I have lost 30 lbs. I set reachable goals and have "hit" two of them. A few more pounds to go (5-7)and I am slowly working on strength and toning plans. Feel to add me. I'm new to posting but am looking forward to being more involved.

This is the kind of information I need. Thanks for it!

I just received the fitbit Force. I love it. I have not had any problems with it syncing or linking to MFP. My wife has a Nike Fuel Band and is "eyeing" my Force. If I was a betting man, I would bet she will have a Force very soon.

This is very helpful. Thanks for the information.

I have a feeling that you are correct about body mass that I have lost. Even though I have been measured several times with their machines and they say the loss of body mass for me is minimal, I am not convinced of that. I do not know what to ask. Even if I knew what to ask, how to correctly interpret their findings may be…
