Thank you!

I am in love with my Apple watch! I try to complete the activity "circles" every day. It keeps me right on track!
-
Thank you! I'm using the app. I'll try the web.

Just wondering if I can use at least one packet of sugar in my coffee and just count the sugar calories (which would be 6 x 4 equaling 24 sugar calories). Or do I have to eliminate it altogether?
-
Thanks to both of you! :)

I used this link via Mozilla Firefox/GreaseMonkey: http://userscripts-mirror.org/scripts/show/122949

So I finally got the points to come up! My questions is, does it track extra points for exercise or is that asking too much? :)
-
Ok! Thanks for that info :)

I can't seem to access the following link (?) userscripts.org/scripts/show/122949 I would like to count Weight watcher points, too! Is this link still working? If not, can someone let me know how I can do this? I love my "free" fruits and veggies! Thanks!

Wow. Thanks so much everyone! I'll check them out. I'm actually surprised myfitnesspal doesn't have something like this (unless I missed it?).

Thanks! I'll check it out :)

Wow, found a few TDEE calculators online and they have me eating 1900 calories per day (yikes!) in order to lose 40 pounds in ten months! I just can't do it. I'm having a hard enough time upping from 1200 to 1500 without fear!
-
Did you use a particular formula here (i.e., Mifflin, Harris-Benedict)? Or should I choose "enter activity level"?
-
What is TDEE??? Where would I get this information? Thanks :)

Hi. I buy ground turkey and make up hamburgers in 4 oz sizes then freeze in sandwich baggies. I sometimes microwave fresh spinach, onion, mushrooms or whatever veggie you like just until softened, then I squeeze out the water and mix into the ground turkey. Add an egg white, a tbsp. grated parmesan, salt, pepper and…

You look terrific! Great job :)

Mine is just the "Wave Hoop" from Walmart. It cost only $8. It's filled with water so it's heavier than your conventional toy hula hoop. I'm so used to it now that I want a more weighted one. I'm currently looking for a deal on one and in the meantime, my husband is going to duct tape the one I have all around until it's…

LOL, too funny! I guess bending over to pick it up is not a bad thing...always good for the waist! Actually, I've become quite better at it over the last few days and I can really feel my heart pounding so I know there is some kind of aerobic going on. I think I need to invest in a Polar heart monitor in order to get the…

@aubnri917 It looks delish but if you don't mind me asking...what is chia? Is it tapioca-like? I'm wondering if the seed expands in the liquid almond milk? If so, I'm definitely going to try this!

Hi all. It's so nice to see a board for 50+ women. I'm 52 and I've been struggling with my weight since the day I was born! I lost 42 pounds on Weight Watchers last year and gained some back but decided I didn't want to have to "pay" to lose weight anymore, which is why I joined FP. Only problem is, I've been at this for…

Here are some of my choices: When I'm in the mood for something sweet: 1 slice fiber plus whole wheat toast with 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/2 banana sliced on top. Sometimes I even add a sprinkle of chopped walnuts. or 1/2 to 1 Cup of Cabot Vermont Style Cottage cheese (only 70 calores/half cup!) I cut up a few grapes, 1/2…

I wonder if this is my problem. I'm eating 1200 calories per day and hardly losing. Honestly, I've been at this for over 2 months, working out diligently at least 5 times/week at the gym, hiking, (cardio and circuit training) and have only taken off maybe 3-4 pounds. Seriously? I'm so scared to increase the calorie intake!
-
I thought about doing this but then I thought again. Right now I'm on 1200 calories, working my tail off and hardly losing weight. If I stray just a little bit, the scale shows a 1-2 pound gain the very next day. So imagine if I do 800 calories a day for 3 weeks? What will happen once those 3 weeks are over? My prediction…

Okay, now I'm really confused. To CM9178, MFP gave me 1254 for daily caloric intake so I took it down some. BUT I just went to the site that has the TDEE calculator and I'm blown away by the numbers. BMR 1480, TDEE 2294, Daily Calories 1835 (20%). This seems like an awful lot of calories. I feel at this point if I ate…

Thank you everybody for such an overwhelming response! Now I don't feel so bad about eating them back! @Icehurts, you said it in a nutshell. If I didn't eat them back, I would be consuming 900, possibly 800 calories a day which would be too dangerously low. So I'm going to try the higher protein this week and see what that…

Hi and thanks for your reply. Last year I took off 42 pounds through weight watchers and doing Zumba 3 times a week. A couple of pounds started to creep back which is what drove me here (tired of paying to lose weight!). I'm currently 179 lbs, 5'4". Weight watchers has my goal at 146 so I need to take off about 33 pounds.
