You know I was frustrated too, I lost 5lbs first month then Nothing so I did some research here on MFP and the web and kept coming across calorie confusion.. OMG !!! needless to say I was extremely skeptical but said "what do I have to lose", and it worked I ate higher calories for 2 days then went back to my 1395 intake…

So you lost pretty close to 10 lbs a month? May I ask how? I lost 5 my first month  I was so hoping for more..congrats by the way.

Just a question? If only logging till dinner why log at all for the day, just enjoy!! If your not logging dinner than your really in essence taking a indulge day, why worry about breakfast and lunch if you have no idea what dinner is going to consist of calorie wise. Just curious.

Understood, but you don't have to be *kitten* about it we are all old enough to know how to give constructive feedback instead of being rude there is a huge difference...just because you have gone threw the trenches of weight loss the emotional as well as physical journey of it does not make ANY of you a expert or have the…

Why r u taking this personal? Did I address you or did your ego completely identify with the type of poster I was referring too.....Btw I said extremly fit or trainers I don't get that impression of your profile that your quit there yet...and i said nothing about null and void so calm down..lol.

I agree ...people can be very harsh almost as if they never were that desperate dieter that most of us have become at times when struggling with weight loss....sometimes by the responses It makes me feel as if most of the posters are not truly overweight and troll just to give there opinions..true weight loss is hard. And…

Op I agree it is harder you have to be more disciplined for sure especially if your one of the unlucky s that experience estrogen dominance as we head towards the big M...I hear a lot of woman actually lose weight easier after the big M due to lack of estrogen....Once we hit this age and beyond it all depends...some have…

So true our mental outlook has ALOT to do with what you see and how you feel...it takes time to realize hey, I lost weight and I accomplished a lot especially if u don't get much support from family and friends its easy to stall in the fat state of mind.

Go back to the 80,s way of weight loss WW and Richard Simmons...Woo Hoo!! Honestly one of the other posters are right unlimited fruit =sugar, too many calories...you stay here on Mfp and we will be here for you...
-
It disgusted you...and that's the first good step in breaking the cycle...just like any other vise, smoking is the same..once you hit that point where something clicks over to disgust that's great...it took me a long time to "naturally" get disgusted not pretending to be disgusted..huge difference
-
My goodness why do people do that...r they scammers or something? I don't get it....wow that is flaky
-
What a beauty...at both weights...congrats you r inspiring

May I ask how long it took and how you did it? Was it 1200 or less or what was your success formula? I have the same weight to lose and was curious...you look great by the way congrats!!!

Good job!!! May I ask how long it took . I am getting impatient I hate to say..

When did you quite? Congrats by the way ..I didn't start gaining my 30 lbs till after the first month and a half after quitting . It has been very hard to lose since, hence that is why i am here ..lol but i am finally losing with the help of logging my cals and the taboo of eating the 1200 calories that not only my fitness…

You look great!!! And happy thanks for sharing

Did you start off eating 1699-1900 calories to lose our is that what you eat now? Good job by the way
-
Yes, I am seeing that about 1200 not for everyone...just didn't want to gain weight I seem to be doing fine at 1200 but don't want to get malnuriched

Ok so bedridden and not trying to lose weight but rather just sustaing? Is that kinda what you mean? So to lose I need to go below the 1395?

I agree the BMi is outdated.. Iam short and guide says I should be very tiny like 112-120.. Last time I was 132 people thought I looked very thin like i looked 115 but I was almost 135 because of my frame it was perfect for me but BMI guide had me near overweight at 132 if I would have actually been 115 I think I would…
