Chicken and dumplings. I'm a flexitarian, but I only eat chicken in my dad's chicken and dumplings! So good! And pretty light as long as you stick to a couple dumplings :)

yum!

I'm 4"11, and I'm not exactly sure my current weight but I KNOW I gained a few over the Christmas holidays. I'd like to be back down to ~90, but I'm not so much focused on the scale as I am being slim, toned, healthy and happy! :)

Oatmeal with chocolate, peanut butter and greek yogurt!

Vanilla protein "ice cream" topped with frozen berries ;)

for being an exit only kind of guy!

I would SUGGEST talking to a treatment team, but as I recovered from my ED by myself, I'll say that it ISN'T necessary. But you really should have a support buddy who can give you a reality check from time to time- you can't always trust yourself when you have an ED. Personally I tried the whole healthy gaining thing and…

Taco salad- a big bowl of romaine topped with refried beans, salsa, jalapenos and a little greek yogurt in place of sour cream. I was planning on having a greek yogurt parfait, I'm big on breakfast... but it's Mexican food night with the family, so I switched up a bit ;)

Sorry, I don't like fad diets
-
I've definitely taken this opportunity as "holiday bulking" ;)

We can make sure this new year's resolution STICKS :) And I so agree about the cute clothes. I might not have much to lose but I ate my way out of all of my newer clothes, believe it or not.

Definitely! I'm recovering from an eating disorder too, so I'm really strict about not getting too obsessive or focusing on numbers. Still, it's nice to be healthy and use moderation. Maybe we could help keep each other in line :)

If I up my calories quickly, will the initial weight gain drop off after a few weeks? it's a little late to ease into a higher calorie range, I guess my body got tired of the starvation, so I started binging up to maintenance by accident...

bump.

This is what I thought, I just need to convince her this. Especially because she does gymnastics, she's very active, and I hope this thread can help convince her.... Also, yes about the fat intake, I need to fix that. Thank you.
-
That's what I hear, for me, so I'm good with that, but I read that girls her age need a lot more calories because they're developing... and I'm a yoga teacher and she does gymnastics, so not exactly sedentary ;)

Red velvet and peanut butter froyo, swirled! Today's lunch ;)

Oatmeal with chocolate and peanut butter.

Yum!

Oh, did I say I ate ONLY fruits and vegetables? No, I said mostly, like most people who advocate "clean eating" say is the right way to eat. What I didn't say (but implied) was that I also ate complex carbs, lean protein, healthy fats, etc. Taco diet :drinker: Now I'm on the seafood diet.... see food, eat it

I actually ran out of bananas today and made my dad run to the store and pick me up like 2 dozen
-
Restriction. For me, at least  Tried "clean eating", mostly raw fruit and veggies, lost my period (TMI?) and become borderline anemic/vitamin deficient despite taking vitamins every day. Now, like a lot of people here, I just try to do IIFYM. Still haven't gotten my period back, but at least my sanity is now intact.
-
Chocolate, peanut butter, and greek yogurt or oatmeal. IIFYM, always ;)
-
Apples = vitamins = healthy! ;)
-
Another one: raw cauliflower and hummus. So. Addictive.
-
That sounds AMAZING. So glad I just bought more bananas.
-
Uhh... sorry, but I'm a dumbo. Can you put this in simple terms? I just want to maintain after my weight loss- how can I go about this? :)
-
I would love to be support buddies if you're up for it! Support systems are so necessary for long term goals :)

Like someone who takes training way too seriously?
