I overdid it once and fainted at the gym. Someone picked me up and asked if I was ok. I tried to play it off and told him I was fine I just tripped, and he goes: "No you didn't trip you were UNCONSCIOUS, do you need HELP??"

Add me as I am basically friendless.

1. down 0lbs (boooo) 2. Eating cleaner at work and planning most of my meals. 3. I had an unscheduled cheat day on Monday and yesterday since I hadn't planned dinner I had a smoked meat sandwich with a few fries and a cherry coke. I was starving and instead of cooking something healthy I let my BF take me out. pretty…

I was doing pretty well until yesterday. An impromptu spa day with a girlfriend happened and I couldn't resist a couple of mimosa's with lunch (which was warm Brie and French bread). Looks like yesterday was a cheat day, even though it wasn't planned. I'll have to be better this week!

It's taken me a year to lose just 20. I wish I had been as awesome as a lot of people on here to lose faster, but I am very proud of myself for what I HAVE accomplished. What I'm trying to say is progress is progress! so even if it takes you a little longer, don't get down on yourself. just keep truckin'

There is a certain etiquette for lane swimming. Mainly, know your speed and be in the correct lane. If you see that everyone is passing you, simply move to the slower lane. Also, don't take up the entire lane, stay to the right. People swim and at the end of lane will turn around and come back on your left. Sortof in a big…

I usually have some almonds and a fruit and maybe a bit of greek yogurt at around 10 am. I find the almonds pretty filling and I'm not hungry till lunch time. In the afternoon I'll have another fruit or something like carrot sticks around 2 or 3 pm. Don't know if this will help at all but thats what I do!

I realize that this is completely not the point of this post, but could you use tap water? It might be cheaper in the long run to buy a brita - type purifier and leave that in the fridge. PLUS you gain brownie points for saving the environment.

YES! The yolk is the healthy part: it's where all the proteins and vitamins are. There is some protein in the whites but it's actually about 90% water.

This seems like a relatively easy fix. If you already know you'll be hungry at 8:30, pack an extra snack! I have a coworker who actually leaves a box of instant oatmeal in his desk because he knows that around 9ish he'll be starving and won't make it to lunch. Hope this helps!

Definitely not the only one this happens to! Sometimes it helps to remember that you don't HAVE to drink to be a part of the party. There are some nights where I just have club soda with a lime wedge in it. It looks like a drink so no one bothers you and tries to offer you a drink. You can just say: "Oh I've already got…

It honestly all comes down to what works for you. If cardio gets you up and moving, hurray. If it's weights, hurray. An hour of anything is better than 15 minutes. 15 minutes of anything is better than nothing. Do what works for you.

"Like yourself enough to take care of your body" Also: "Don't look sideways" As in, focus on yourself and don't bother with what others are doing or could be thinking.

This. Hydrate. Pretty much no one is too big for yoga.

Everyone, everywhere. A woman's worth is measured only by was she looks like dontcha know? Even Jessica Simpson, who is all weight watchers-y and "I am a normal woman not a supermodel" said something like "I looked down at the scale and thought to myself my life is over" in an interview not too long ago. Thanks Jessica.…

to put your embarrassment into perspective: I went to the gym when I hadn't been for a very long time. So I was determined to give it my all! I went all out and at one point was feeling a little light-headed so I started to make my way over to the drinking fountain. I didn't make it. I passed right out in the middle of the…

I totally get you, My loving boyfriend made a delicious chocolate cake yesterday even though he knows I am watching my calories. It's just sitting there in the kitchen and it's really difficult to ignore it. If you can, you should try (kindly) asking her to put the bag in one of her drawers so you are not staring at it all…

PRETTY SURE you yourself you started a thread topic called FOR VEGANS / VEGETARIANS ONLY only just a teeny tiny slight small amount of hypocrisy here. just a little.

Anything can become an addiction, including food. People who are so morbidly obese that they are bedridden are clearly addicted, and I don't really see any food rehab centers.
