NED at this point, I see Onc once a year. As i said, every radiation side effect, baroreceptor dysfunction, fried thyroid, everything I was so happy when the weight was falling off, yes it was very fast, but my knees loved me and I had so much energy. Lots of flabby bits, apron, wings, the works. So I never went sleeveless…

Ask your doctor for HRT, patches are easier to control. But no one should try to fight post hysterectomy blues alone. I was offered anti depressants, and HRT. One day on hrt, I felt normal. Never did anti depressants.

It's not Misha, or at least, not directly. She's just 80 pounds of happiness. I need exercises that I can still do because 'I' hurt 'Myself,' does that make sense? Like my knee, lol, it's been a mess for a while, Misha just happened to be there when I attempted to kick her ball and ended up in a full on football slide..…

Thank you for the welcomes, my name is Sue, (easier to type) I got cancer, yay go me! Throat cancer aka, cancer of a million papercuts. 35 rads, 3 chemos, fun fact - did you know chemo boosts your metabolism to about 3500 cals a day? So with a stomach the size of a grape, and a papercut throat (NOOOO to applesauce omg)…

Hi everyone - I am kinda not a serial starter, long story short, I was losing, slowly, but getting down there - then I got sick - and lost a whole lot really fast, so much so I had bat wings, and flabby bits everywhere, nothing fit, I couldn't even rummage in my closet for anything. Anyways a few Dr. yellings later, I am…

boobs, feet (yes FEET) butt, arms, belly... more boobs.. thank god sports bras arent really sized, at my lowest, I had bat wings and an apron.. But have to get back there...
-
Thats an awful lot of salt, try cutting to around 2000, it'll drop off - especially without salt
-
First, I lost boobs.. then feet (NO KIDDING!) I was so consumed with the fact that I had nothing in my bra, and shoes that looked like clowns, I didn't realize that my pants were falling down.. so.. I guess it took me a while!

I think we must be related :)

I got sick. Yep, the C word. So as I was limited (still am) in what I ate, I lost 100 pounds. Yep. Just like that. Know what instant loss gives you?? Flabby bits :( I was told to gain weight, even tho i was above my ideal weight. 160 at that point, and loving it, but really unhealthy. Low potassium, magnesium, you name it.…

zulilly, when they do bundles of bras.. like 6 at a time

Um.. I meant on humans...

Sorry - boobs go first :)

From a medical point of view - the dizziness etc you described, is also due to low potassium and magnesium (both in the IV fluids) take those supplements and drink a good amount of water, and you should even out. No, Im not a medical professional, I've just had a whole year of bags of fluids, low potassium/magnesium etc…

Steel Cut Oatmeal for breakfast every day will keep you off statins

You can add carnation instant breakfast to Ensure to up the calories. Its all a matter of taste, I can smell Ensure before it gets in the room, no thank You. Strawberry Boost? Im ok.

Do not do it now. Chemo kicks your metabolism into very high gear, (approx 3500 cals a day) focus on getting better, track the weight loss, but don't try to diet yet.
-
There is no "diet" that helps. You should know that. cancer doesn't care who it picks on, doesn't matter if you are fat, skinny, just right, cancer just does. not. care. You can be living the healthiest lifestyle in the world, eating veggies, doing it "right" if you are going to get it, you'll get it. Of course if you are…

Oh and, I got this! I will win! It picked the wrong host!

Once your Gallbladder is out, you should lose - I did, friends did...

Have they checked your vitamin D level?

Yep, 2nd thing - first was losing the "girls"
-
Also depends on the swelling.. My son and brother looked like chipmunks (hahaha) I was fine.. I actually remember the nurse telling me to eat toast to toughen my gums up, and me telling her she was a sadist...

Its no so much how much you weigh, more like the condition your knees are in. Example - I would love to run, I used to enjoy it when I was younger - before I abused my body by kneeling in places where lil old ladies would say "you'll regret that when you're older" My Ortho said I have arthritus, not the genetic kind, the…
