Awesome!!! You have so much to be proud of!! Thanks for the inspiration!

To be quite honest, speaking for myself. I find the tracking tools are very helpful and keep me accountable, it is the wake up call one needs to realize what it's going to take to be and stay healthy. But for the most part I am hesitant to post anything on the message boards, and get frustrated reading the message boards…

Yep trying so many of these, especially stuffed squash, as I am not a fan of stuffed peppers, lov ethe inside not the outside, kudos to all the great cooks out there!!!!!!!

I was almost a full month late after I started eating right and exercisiing, even took a pregnancy test to rule that out. Not sur if it was just coincidence or not, but they say stress, life changes and weight loss, can have an affect on our cycles.

Believe me I am there and making myself the priority is something I struggle with, I posted the exact same question not to long ago. I have a hard time with the logging too, especially on the weekend when everyone is home, to sit down to the computer and log my meals, I am still new here so I don't know all the tricks to…

There is a difference between a dietician and a nutritionist(sp??) Dieticians have a degree where the other is just a course. My thought is you have to find a diet that works but that is also maintainable.

So I ended up finding an Elliptical trainer, and exercise while my kids nap, watch movies or play! I love it!! Again I think the biggest thing was motivation and that I was in a rut, MFP helps to make me accountable for the healthy or not so healthy choices I make.

So glad to see this post, yep I am right there with the poster who said they are always hungry, I think the key is not to fight it, eat or not eat it doesn't seem to work. But I like the exercise. Give in to the cravings, but up the exercise. It's a win win, as exercise improves mood, and allows for some indulgent treats…

So glad this topic was already posted...I hope this gain is only due to my TOM, but I have been having foods that aren't the best even if I am within my calorie goal. Oh well I will weigh in, to keep my honest and a reminder that up is not the "weigh" to go.

Fish any and all Fish... I keep trying Salmon, thinking that one day, one recipe will change the way I feel, but alas no. I don't mind halibut, but I think the batter and deep frying probably ruins any health benefits of eating the fish.

Wow how amazing are you? You look terrific! An inspiration!

Thanks everyone, I think the biggest hurdle I have right now is motivation. I was an avid runner, walk/ran right up to my due date with my 2nd and ran about 60 km's per week after my second I just took her joggin with me in the stroller. Starting running after third and got back up to about 25 km's a week then After our…

Big eye opener when you enter in a fast food meal. whopper combo ( my favorite burger) 1700 calories when you add in the drink and fries. I wish I would have entered it before I ate it, I would have eaten a salad or just said no. really a full days calories on one meal. Even if it is my favorite, it is so not worth that.

Great job!!!

My thought is the OP got just what he wanted. I have been following some of the message boards today and see that there are many here who are not taking it as serious as others. Some are passionate about their healthy lifestyle goals while others are not. This is life this is the world we live in. I think some of the…

Firefox So I am new, what is Stickies??? I have been reading the message boards and trying to learn more about MFP.

I am with you on the time consuming thing, I have to admit That is a big part of my less than stellar tracking on here over the last few days, I find it hard and frustrating over the weekend when everyone is all home throughout the day to track everything, I am still new and so I sit down after each meal and snack and log…

Thanks, my guess was the 1/4 pound serving. but wasn't sure if I was guessing too small or too big.

Will be 38 in April, I just joined MFP, Most people have always said I look very young, though I have started feeling older as of late, which is probably part of the reason I joined up. Feel free to add me, I am new to the site so not sure how it all works.
