Propel on the go packets, crystal light packets, Lipton on the go packets, juice, milk. I would drink diet soda but I'm allergic to the sweetener they use in most diet sodas.

Hey! I turned 30 in November and decided that would be my last birthday as a completely unhealthy person. I owed it to myself. Feel free to add me as a friend! I try to remain very positive and optimistic and i like encouraging my friends through this journey!

I got rid of my ex boyfriend. I figured if I was strong enough to get rid of an emotionally and mentally abusive 190 pound man, I was strong enough to get rid of my extra 120 pounds. My thing that spurred me joining MFP was having to dress up for a work Christmas party and realizing that none of my dress pants (already…

I actually work on most weekends, but i do have 4 days a week off (which are sort of like weekends to me). If I know I've got a day off I'll try to spend one of my days off out doing something. May be trying out the walking/jogging path in a park I've never been to or running errands or stocking up the fridge. When at home…

Store brands = cheaper so that's what we stock the fridge and pantry with. I was wondering if anyone else had really crazy ones though. Seriously...a name brand carton of milk showing up as KFC mashed potatoes and gravy was hilarious. lol

How many calories are in a hand according to the app? lol

A-freaking-MEN! I LOVE this post...no flaming from me. I was once told I was lucky that I didn't crave junk food since I rarely seem to eat it. I don't crave it? Are you kidding me? I crave cr*p food all of the time...I just remind myself that I'm stronger than I think I am and that my willpower is an amazing thing. I also…

I am a person who has recently realized that I use my obesity as a security blanket. At one point in my life I had such a fear of rejection by anyone (especially men). I became convinced that if these people didn't like me for "who i am" (meaning what I am as an obese person), then that was their issue. I was allowing…

This. Is. Awesome. Seriously...I love awesome humor!

Congrats on the 7 pounds! 7 pounds in a month is fantastic!

Yesterday while getting ready to go out in the evening (about half an hour after finishing my first session of Jillian Michaels' No More Trouble Zones), I fell over while putting on my jeans because my legs felt THAT MUCH like Jello. I definitely wasn't hurt...and I'm still pretty much laughing about it.

That is hilarious!

I'm a pretty positive person and I like to support my MFP friends. Always open to positive and uplifting friends.

I just busted out of the 200's a couple weeks ago...I'm also told that very supportive and positively motivating. Also always open to new friends. I've lost 32 pounds so far (not all when on MFP...but I've lost 10.6 since joining MFP. I still have about 90 pounds to go to get down to my goal weight of 105-110 (I'm…

Add me! I love friends!

Thanks so much for this topic! I've never been to a gym (save the college fitness center about 11 years ago). I can assume I know proper weight room protocols (stay out of the way, put things back where they belong, etc) but to hear it from people with experience really helps. The gym completely intimidates me...and the…

I've had a few that really get me jazzed! - our manager at work told me it looked like I was losing weight (yay! because I never see the physical changes in myself) - A patient at work last night asked me why I was wearing someone else's name badge because I didn't look like the person in my badge picture anymore (a photo…

I guess my take on the low-carb thing is that I could never make it work for me and my fitness goals. My goal is not only to lose weight but gain muscle. Muscle naturally takes more calories to maintain than fat does. Muscles are our natural calorie incinerators...and also have a longer-lasting afterburn of calories after…

You're not alone. I'm at about 100 lbs to lose right now (after spending the last year and a half losing 32ish pounds). Feel free to throw me a friend request. We're all in this together!

I used to be both a stress eater and a binge eater. I finally got over it by changing my outlook on food. Food is (and is only meant to be) fuel for our bodies. Good fuel runs our bodies better. Why on earth would we give food any emotional pull? Why would we use a body fuel as a way through an emotional time? Food is only…

Good luck! You can do it!

I've gotten a wide array of descriptions of "fat" in describing me. One guy I met actually called me "seasonably plump" (it was around the holidays). I proceeded to pull a $5 bill out of my purse and handed it to him. When he asked why, I told him, "in 20+ years of battling a weight problem I had never heard that one...I…

Awesome job! You look amazing!

I love my fitbit to death! I actually have minor withdrawals when I leave home without it. I like that it keeps track of distance and steps...so I can know approximately how far I go when I walk laps around the unit at work. I also love that it is discreet enough to wear with anything...clipping it to my bra is my…

Uhm, I am a health professional. I work with a whole team of physicians, dieticians, nutritionists, pharmacists, and professionals in the areas of weight loss methods (medical, surgical, holistic, and dietary). None of them recommend Orlistat to their patients/clients. I would never recommend it either. It leads to vitamin…

I got Alli once to help me out, but I found that after reading the charming list of common side effects (like uncontrollable bowel movements), it scared me completely out of eating fat. Effective because i never took the med but lost weight because I was terrified of taking it and pooping myself...so I learned how to…

Hi! My name is Jessi and I'm always up for more friends. I'm 30 years old, live in Florida...where bikinis and flip flops never go "out of season" and I have about 100lbs left to lose. My highest was 230. I'm now down to 198 (yay!). I love getting everyone's ideas and sharing in successes. Community is key to motivation.…
