Steps have not synced to MFP for weeks. Nothing works ... Fitbit Alta HR.

My UP is still not getting MFP data, though the Tech info says the issue has been fixed ....

I found the following in Tech Support ... My Company Home > Announcements from our Tech Team > Jawbone data/food sync issues Jawbone data/food sync issues Wednesday, Aug. 10th, 2016, 3:00pm PDT Hello folks, We have discovered an issue, starting Wednesday morning, that is affecting some data from being sent to Jawbone. This…

MFP hasn't been doing too well with Fitbit either. The Jawbone UP is logging everything except the food intake from MFP. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps and have done the online chat thing with the very helpful Jawbone support. I think it's an MFP thing and it's a real pain.

It's not working properly for me either. Steps aren't going from Fitbit to MFP and water intake isn't going from MFP to Fitbit. Strangely, Fitbit isn't showing active minutes on the dashboard - though they are logged .... I can see them if I click on the arrow for more details. It's all very hit and miss.

I'm sorry that you are all having trouble but glad that I am not alone. MFP stopped synching with Fitbit my iPad and iPhone yesterday afternoon. I haven't checked my computer. Yesterday evening followed all the steps mentioned above by Christabenjamin and also uninstalled and reinstalled MFP on iPad and iPhone. Still not…

Hi there. I've been doing the 5:2 since January 2013 and all was wonderful till I gave up smoking and started vaping in January of this year. I still do the 5:2 and exercise, but my weight is creeping up - I could so with some support! xx

I'm in South Wales - feel free to add me.

Thank you. This was very helpful.

I've been using my Fitbit Flex since January this year and stopped logging my walking activities. I didn't realise that this would mean that the calories wouldn't be taken into account in the Fitbit dashboard. I can never understand why Fitbit having a negative effect on the calories burnt in MFP - would this be why? I…

I agree that the 4kg is a waste of money. I go to a kettlebell class at my local gym so use theirs. It's a good way to find out about technique and what weight is good for you. I have a pair of 7.5 kg ones that I use occasionally at home. Heavy duty plastic - bought chez Aldi - but I wouldn't recommend them for heavy usage.

I would like input on this as well, as the difference between MFP cals and Fitbit cals is puzzling me. I do the 5:2 and was maintaining fine - don't know if it is coincidence, but since getting the Fitbit I've gained a few pounds and it also seems to have screwed up my MFP stats. I have never been one to "eat back"…

Thank you - so those are the calories I need? The number is over what I usually log. I can't see that I am going to aim for a number that high!

After New Year, you generally have to fight through the mass of fat people to get into the gym, and there's no chance of getting on a treadmill. Then, after about a week, they all disappear until the following year.

Still doing basic 680 calorie burn a day - 2 hours walking and 30 mins circuits per day. Have added AquaFit 45 mins once a week - 161 Plus 2 60 min circuits classes per week. 428 x 2 - in addition to the average daily 30 mins.
-
Done - but just basic jump.
-
Done.
-
Split into 4 batches. ouch!
-
Done without weights.
-
75 sumo squats + 25 curtsey squats/
-
Done - + 25 normal squats.

I am doing an average of 2 hours of walking a day - 406 calories - + squats (calisthenics - say 60 cals) and an average of half an hour of circuits a day - 214 cals - so this is a basic daily burn of 680 cals a day. This is my low estimate - usually do more - but it works out at a basic burn of 4760 a week. So - Day 1 -…
