  • Ok, I really though "outside the box" today. I took a floor rug, turned it upside down, placed the metal dog cage (medium sized) on the rug. I then placed 2-25lb box's of scoopable cat litter inside the cage and took a book bag, filled it up with books and weighed it to be 20lbs. for a total of 70 lbs plus what the cage…
  • I am diabetic so I have to eat lower carb. I am not sure how low your talking though. I eat around 80 to 100 carbs a day. I eat 6 times a day too, 3 main meals and 3 snacks. I eat pretty healthy too. I have an open food diary if you want to take a peek. I also eat between 1200 to 1300 calories most days, but once in…
  • This ^^^^^ You didn't mention what your disabilities in exercisising were, so if you can do something with your arms. go to www.youtube.com and in the search put in arm exercises, or if you can use your legs, "leg exercises" or beginning leg exercises etc. youtube has mega amounts of exercise videos from the beginner to…
  • I just love this challenge. I have a few idea's already of things I can do that are "Outside the Box" at work (12/05/13) I took a rectangular 4" high wooden 3 sided box. (it is for us to put our feet on so we don't have legs dangling off our chairs.) I used it to do step ups and down for 10 minutes and then I also used…
  • Awesome challenge this week. I am excited to think "Outside the Box". I have a few ideas of what I can do already :) I also will be doing the optional challenge too. I have a box of food all ready to drop off where I work Friday. We have a food drive for the needy in our area. The food goes to the local churches to help…

  • A diabetic can eat cheese and lots of it (just don't get constipated). Cheese is a good protein and diabetic's need to raise their protein and fat and lower their carbs to get their blood sugars under control. You also can not reverse diabetes. Once you have it, you have it for life. You can however controll it, but it…
  • Cheese does not make you have diabetes or make a person with diabetes worse, It is a protein and protein is not bad. Also you said many have reversed tehir diabetes. You can not reverse it. You can control it, but once you have it, it is with you for life. There is no cure.
  • My take on this: Yes, if you only ate either all healthy or all garbage foods, and even if you mix the two catagories up, it still would be 1500 calories and you would probably lose the same weight. (This is with "zero" exercising. Now if you ate the same as above, but added exercising, I would say the healthy eating would…

  • My weird eating habits are: I love peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. Have to put peanut butter on both slices of bread and then dill pickle chips or dill sandwich slices. Yumm, The pickle cuts the stickyness of the peanut butter. I love to eat tomato's like an apple, right from the fridge, but I detest tomato's slice's…
  • Didn't mean anything by quoting it. Your post sounded like you weren't real sure as to where to post, so I just copied and pasted off the main thread so you could see what it said. Sorry if you felt offended, wasn't meant that way at all. Was just trying to be helpful. My apologies if you took it wrong. Edited to add this.…

  • 1) 30 minutes of exercise on Thanksgiving day (thurdsay 11/28). Only counts on thanksgiving, cannot be done another day. Report as you normally would to your coach This was on the main Weekly 7 thread.
  • Ok, did my 30 minutes this morning with sweat'n to the oldies with Richard Simmons, and then tonight I did 90 squats with 3 lb weights and 50 wall push ups. Hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving :D

  • Ok, you posted asking for our help. Most of us are saying the same thing and you are arguing your reasonings of why you eat like you do. Fine keep eating the way you do, but I highly doubt you will lose the weight. As you OP stated, you have gained. HELLO. But you can argue it till your blue in the face. If you REALLY want…
  • ^^^^ this. I too looked at a few of your food diary days and I see way way too much junk foods/snacks, high carbed foods, fast foods, pre-cooked foods. If you really want to lose weight, you need to cut back on the junk, start making your foods from scratch, that way you know exactly what you are eating. I am not saying…
