I use spring mix mostly, and just divy it up into four smaller (ziploc/rubbermaid) containers for the week ahead. I usually only put onion or carrot in ahead of time, and the other veg that don't last as long I add in later. I put the chicken or nuts or whatever else I'm adding into separate containers, too. I just use my cheese grater ..... works perfectly fine. I cook em with a little butter & fresh garlic. Serve with meatballs & sauce.... so delicious..... making my mouth water (wipes up drool) might need to make this again tonight !
