  • As you probably know you can't lose weight in just a specific part of your body. Just keep doing what you are doing and your double chin will disappear as you lose weight. Good Luck!
  • Try Under Armour bras! I live in Canada and get them at Sportschek for about $50
  • Under Armour makes great sports bras :)
  • I'm 5'3. started at about 148ish, now I'm at 142. My goal is somewhere between 110 - 120, just depending on how I look and feel! I am doing the 30DS right now, but I usually do it every other day because I get way too bored doing it everyday haha. In addition I do about 45 minutes of cardio at the gym most days (I do…
  • I'm a 36 C and I just bought a Under Armour full support, high impact sports bra. I love it! It covers everything, with out being too tight (Ie: it doesn't make me look flat chested lol). It's a breathable material and has a very thin cup/padding over each breast (it helps give you a bit of shape plus you don't have to…
  • I had a super busy weekend, so I had to take a few days off. I finished day 4 level 1 yesterday though, and am gearing up for day 5 today!!
  • Day 3 is done! Good job to everyone who is sticking with it!
  • I just got over a really bad craving by drinking a bottle of water with crystal light and eating a few baby dill pickles (about 40 calories total). Try saving some calories for night time snacking too!
  • I start my HRM as soon as I begin my workout, then shut it off as soon as my heart rate drops below my target zone.
  • Hey! I'm 5'3, 142 lbs, and my goal is 115 - 110.
  • Finished day 2, but I definitely didn't work as hard as I could have. I just get so bored doing the same thing over and over!
  • Not at all! I haven't even been able to get past level one yet because I get so sick of it. I started the cycle again yesterday, and today it was so much effort to even get started and finish it because I am sick of it already.
  • YES! I give in, but try to use portion control. Prepackaged snacks are great because then you know exactly how much you are eating. I am definitely guilty of grabbing "just one more" handful of chips or another chocolate and it turning into 10 more. If you do slip just exercise it off and don't worry about it. Everyone…
  • I stop my HRM after my heart rate goes down enough to bring me out of my target zone.
  • Day one is done for me :) Good job to everyone who has completed their workout out for today! For everyone else: You can do this!!
  • I'm in :) I NEED to finish this, I always start, then stop after a week or so because of one reason or another.
  • I just ignore all that :) I try to keep it simple, and just get my net calories as close to my daily budgeted amount as possible. Maybe try avoiding certain threads if you know the answers will stress you out once you read them?
  • I don't know a ton about Indian food, but I do know a bit :) The creamy dish you had was probably some kind of curry, and would most likely have been made with cream or coconut milk. Coconut milk is not that bad for you, but obviously cream is. Also, be careful of the "regular" curry dishes like Chicken Tiki Masla, they…
  • I agree with you, however, I feel like any advice taken from this site needs to be done so with a grain of salt. This site can be completely anonymous, and someone can pretend to be whoever they want to be. It is the internet after all. No offense, but if someone does harm themselves by following advice they found on a…
  • I just go to the gym when I know it won't be really busy so I don't have to deal with any of that!

  • I just finished my first year of university so I know exactly how you feel!
  • Try exercise DVDs, there are so many to choose form you will never get bored! If you don't want to pay for them I would suggest going to exercise tv (http://www.exercisetv.tv/workout-videos/) they have a TON of free full length videos you can choose from.
  • I also look up the menu online first so I have an idea of what food the restaurant has and how many calories are in a meal. If I know I will want a few drinks, or an unhealthy choice that would put me over my daily calories budget I exercise before or after I go. I try to burn as many calories as I think I will go over my…
  • That's one reason why I love MFP, it helps so much with staying on track! Don't forget that it's ok to splurge and have a "cheat" meal/day every once in a while, in fact most people recommend it.
  • I just discovered the website portion of MFP as well :)
  • Good luck!!
  • Congrats! Keep it up :)
  • What watch did you buy? I'm looking at buying one but I don't really want to pay for a polar right now haha. I work at a nursing home, and am walking around, transferring residents and standing up for 8 - 12 hours depending on the shift. I always add that as exercise because by the end of the shift I always feel like I…
  • Just remember to stay strong! Like you said, you know yourself and your body, and your family does not. Do what's right for you not what everyone else thinks is right.
  • I agree with you, everyone here needs all the support they can get!
