  • Are you near the kitchen or something? Can those items possibly be moved to the general break/kitchen area? My concern would be bugs/ants....maybe you can say you've seen a "friend" or two (bugs) loitering amongst the treats and suggest they move that stuff (also think about ants crawling on that stuff after everyone has…

  • ^lol this is me^.....let's be friends and not say anything to each other ha  my requirements are: get up and go train and eat/sleep/drink to support your goals or not and as far as other's requirements for FL, that's cool. it's THEIR list after all, they should be able to set criteria or not.
  • this, mostly. plus, thread useless w/out pics, etc

  • I don't have cable, and thanks to Netflix I get to enjoy shows like Columbo, Quincy M.E., Emergency!, Adam-12, etc on the regular... *breathes personal sigh o'relief* but hey watch what u like and enjoy!!:drinker:
  • Jeans from Abercrombie/Fitch! I know there's lots of controversy with the CEO going on these days but I've been wanting to buy and successfully wear a pair of those jeans since the early 90's(I'm way too old for them as well, just wanna do it so I can say I've done it ha :noway:
  • A couple of my favorite snacks.... Stick pretzels mixed with pik nik shoestring potatoes, candy corn or dinner mints yikes Or real popcorn made on the stove, with lots of real butter melted on top, and mix in butter after dinner mints.... Either one of those plus a good azz movie.... heaven loll
  • i know it's hard sometimes to get going! Stand up NAO, do 50 jumping jacks, go put your workout clothes on get off the internet and gooooooooooooooooo
  • this, especially if I was doing the same job and still managed to be overweight. In calculating my TDEE, I would put lightly active though, instead of the sedentary choice, THEN log any actual concentrated exercise (weights, running, etc) accordingly
  • "True" sizes in jeans I wear anything from a size 8 to a size 12 depending on the cut....my best fits are Lucky jeans, as they tend to have a small waist and ample room in the hips/thighs area I wish I could wear AE, Old Navy, etc but by the time the hips fit me the waist is out to heeeeeeeeeeeeeere
  • My heavy ain't your heavy and vice versa... To me lifting heavy is what I consider heavy for me. I did deadlifts this afternoon and maxed out at 175. That was heavy to me, but that is probably someone else's warmup weight to lift. Even if it's 10lbs, if it's heavy to you right now you're lifting heavy. Once 10 lbs becomes…
  • i just creeped your pics you are totally gorgeous...what a transformation! that is a big change. try to work through your self-esteem issues and get pervy with him girl!! he probably feels a little intimidated especially if he still looks the same. maybe get the fires going so he knows you're still attracted to him and he…
  • so he has noticed and has commented on your weight loss. **the following is a serious question, no smartazz involved** What is it you want him to do [exactly]? you say you thought he would be super excited.....maybe his version of super excited isn't the same as yours?
  • these up here^ i've used the Smith a couple of times when I first started lifting. The feeling I get when using it is that i'm just pushing my feet into the floor to drive the weight up. When I squat with a barbell across my back going ATG i can feel my entire body engaging (especially my butt, legs and core) in order to…
  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmm......dat glue
  • My experience with fasting to kick off a weight loss program was not good. I would restrict and feel good about it, scale going down, etc.....then i would crack and have a little treat, then end up bingeing then saying "eff it" and i'm off to the races again of eating whatever and not exercising later, rinse, repeat over…
  • this is what i thought as well, i'm afraid. I actually did hit 12% bf one time (i've been weight training since the early 90's), heavy training, mix in HIIT/cardio etc) eating lean and my stomach would still pooch out after eating. i think that's what our stomachs do when it's busy holding what we just ate. my stomach…
  • with "practice" being the operative word.....it definitely does take practice but i'm getting better at not going over, satisfying the craving and moving on
  • haha your description of Syntha-6 is spot on. I will not buy this brand because it tastes so freakin' good i would drink it all day  My picks are Dymatize or ON
  • I think that every once in a while will probably be ok.....everything in moderation, as you previously stated. I can't speak for anyone else's experience, but I've been eating junk/processed food for years so i'm not gonna get on MFP and all of a sudden start preaching 100% zen-like grass fed organic-ness. We all gon die.…
  • this, mostly. when i see newer members or those that aren't lifting that much i'm usually thinking "good for them...yayyy" or something like that i've seen men benching/squatting the bar only and i have never had any kind of negative thought. maybe they're new, doing physical therapy, rehab, etc i do not know their story…
  • this plus a crockpot would make it super easy to prepare meals in advance for the week like the poster above said, you could grill 4 burgers (2 beef, 2 turkey, whatever), make some couscous/orzo/rice, separate rice into 4 portions and put in a storage container. Top with burger and sprinkle some frozen chopped broccoli…
