dying so young doesn't sound like "living life" to me.
ETA: just read he had a congenital heart defect... very sad.
living life means enjoying the most out of it. there are much older people who have done less with their lives.
Dying so young is still a tragedy. Such a huge, amazing world... it takes more than a mere two decades to enjoy the most out of it.
obviously its a tragedy. i was just saying i dont understand the hate for him when he was trying to live his life to the fullest and was having a great time.
I don't understand this thread. Somehow the initial post sounds like a sarcasm to me... Why? This guy died and any death is tragedy, especially if its a young cute guy. Wherever mistakes he made, it's not a reason to make fun of him and his death.
May he rest in peace.0 -
Why do you call him the king?0

Sesaza - Seems like you're the only one who's sad. Get over it.0

The King lives on the moon and on Friday and Saturday nights works in a Fish and Chip shop in Wigan. Everyone knows that.0

Wrong. Frank Zane is the example of physical perfection. He ascend to the top of Mt. Olympia on three consecutive occasions. Frank Zane's physique remains timeless, as respected by bodybuilding fans today as it was then. His name is still consistently invoked for reference when discussion among bodybuilding fans turns to what an ideal physique should look like. Every inch of his musculature was in aesthetically pleasing proportion with the rest, almost as if sculpted by a divine master artisan who deigned that man, in his dreams of achieving physical perfection, should have a living example to which to aspire. A rising deltoid here; a tapering waistline there; striations all around. Frank Zane's ascention to the top of Mt. Olympia earned him a place as a demigod, a title Aziz could never have reached.0 -
He was a young bodybuilder who had a sorta cult following on the net. He died of a sudden heart attack at age 22.

Didn't read the wiki but isn't 22 yrs a little young ot get a heart attack. Specially for a "healthy" person? I suspect heavy usage of drugs involved for this fame and body. In which case, I'd rather not be impressed with this king.
Only person I be mirin who died after heavy drug usage was Cobain.0 -

LOL- I was thinking the same thing.
I have to say this guy looked and acted like a tool. He had a hair cut from the Green Hulk on the Old tv show. It is sad that he died young but live by the sword die by it.0 -

Well, when my favorite musician whom no one has ever heard of dies, I'll be sure to post it here.
I suppose that's not exactly the same thing, but it would probably elicit just as many head scratches.0 -
