7 year survivor here. Also a Momma, but my kids are 20 and 17! Turning 50 in April and am trying to find a way to not spend the next 50 years with this weight gain/loss cycle

My short term goals are to continue exercising at least 5 times per week, and log each day. My long term goal is 30 pounds gone by my 50th birthday in April 2017. I don't want to keep doing this cycle after I am 50!

wholeheartedly agree. when i combine meditation with weight loss plans, I have the most success! I think this is too often a missing component. Now to convince myself to make consistent meditation a priority!

I haven't checked these out in forever, but I have to say that this is one of my favorites. You know you're doing it right when you can go out and enjoy the night, no guilt, and then get back to business if you will, the next day. Not wanting to always eat poorly, just enjoying it occasionally. That's what it's about!…

Yesterday I had a DR appointment. The nurse weighed me and as she entered my weight in the program a pop-up came up having her check the weight because IT WAS SO MUCH LOWER THAN MY PREVIOUS WEIGHT!!

Just started daily weighing and I wish I would have started it 25 years ago!! For me, it helps to keep me on track and stay away from that "I blew it, I may as well eat everything in sight" attitude. 2 weeks in and down 5.6 pounds, have lost all but 3 days. Works well for me, I hope it continues!

There is a genetic test that you can take that will say if you have it or not and/ or carry the gene. Neither of my kids have it but both carry the gene.
