you are right alot of it is not low cal, and alot of sugars. some of the food is low cal. I agree much of it is processed Standard American Diet. Many believe real food is not that important if you eat the fake stuff in "moderation" . They find ways to fit their poptarts, waffles, candy bars etc

please be aware melatonin is a hormone and it is better not to supplement with it. get morning sun in your eyes, get some sun in the afternoon, cut lights at night and computer time 2 hours before bed. this will help set your circadian ryhym and your body will produce its own melatonin.

I have lost 140lbs and eat nanas all the time. They are satisfying, good for digestion and taste oh so good! Just count the calories! i would rather have a banan thana fiber one bar, less (no ) chemicals. Maybe you menat they are a bit caloric for fruit :)

It can be eaten in place of oatmeal, I toast it first (before cooking, brings the nuttiness out, otherwise it is quite plain) then add stevia and some maple syrup (not much) cinnamon etc. Quinoa is a VERY nutritous food. I eat dianas bananas frozen bananas covered in dark chocolate 130 calories of yumminess. They are nutritous, have probiotics and potassium. I love them, especially frozen.

I can ignore chips, meat and potatos forever. I do activity gym almost everyday for 4 years. I cannot have quest bars in the house or I will eat 2-3 per day. I have trouble with sweets in the house as well. I have food limiting issues, and am not a great planner.
