My current obsession is Stacy's Pita Chips in the "plain" and the "cinnamon sugar" varieties.

That's so funny! I was hooked on these b/c the vending machine at worked stocked them and I loved them too. I even bought a box of 60 bags of these crackers over Christmas time b/c it came out much cheaper than the $1.25 I was paying the machine. Yes, I agree...very tasty but too many calories so i just eat 1/3 or 1/2 a…

For me, I know when Aunt Flo's about to visit b/c of those sweet and salty cravings AND b/c i am hungrier than normal. I give myself a break during those times and don't beat myself up if i eat more than usual or over my calorie allowance. So far, I haven't "binged" or gone crazy, but I can understand that other women may…

Yup, I peel them, wrap them in plastic and freeze them for future use (smoothies, muffins, pancakes).

This sounds so good and simple. Love the use of maple syrup w/siracha. Thanks!

If you have a food scale, perfect time to use that! :)

A good New York bagel! I love bagels and used to eat them on a regular basis. Those huge "pillows" can range from 300-400 calories a pop and that's without the cream cheese.

I echo the above sentiments. I actually "enjoy" logging in every day! I'm sure there will come a time when I won't be logging in but for now, and I'm currently on "maintenence", I'll keep logging!

YES!

Personally, I'd recommend the Vitamix. Love that thing!

Beer battered fish and chips, preferably shipped over fresh and crispy direct from London :)

If you look at vintage clothes from the 50's, 60's 70's and compare to present day, you'll see how our clothing sizes have expanded greatly. It's a bit of an eye opener and a let down b/c we're made to "think" that we're a smaller size than we truly are. Also, different manufacturer's vary big time in clothing sizes. So, I…

I reached my goal weight a couple months ago but still make a habit of logging in my calories. For me, it works out because I'm such a structured, OCD kind of personality, and it helps keep me within my caloric goals.

they come in these??? u-oh...

I'd hardly call a person who's lost 100lbs a failure. Try not to catastrophize what happened today b/c that's not being realistic. Looks like from your diary you've been doing really well with keeping at your goal or under so try to relax about today! Also, there's gotta be something other than ribs at that bbq place…

here's one I posted not too long ago from Hungry Girl: (each cake is 40 calories) Ingredients: (makes 7 cakes) One 6-oz can albacore tuna packed in water, drained 3/4 cup Fiber One bran cereal (original) 1/2 cup fat free liquid egg substitue 2 tablespoons red onion, diced 1 teaspoon French mustard 1 teaspoon low fat sour…

Half a "piece" is very subjective. You would've had to weigh it to know for sure. Just record what you think is closest.

Love these ingredients! Thanku for posting another creative way to cook up chicken :)

You can still enjoy the bbq if you make the meat/bbq more of a "side" than the main course. Load up on the veggies like the other posters said, with a "side" of some bbq chicken or whatever your family is cooking up.

I used to drink a light beer or glass of wine every night with my dinner, but after counting calories and seeing how many calories this takes up, I decided to stop. It's been about 4months and I personally don't miss not having alcohol and would rather reserve those cals for something good to eat.

How about "fried" chicken? Here's a recipe I made before and liked! This recipe is good for 2 medium size chicken breasts Preheat oven to 350 degrees F prepare a shallow baking sheet/dish by lining it with parchment paper or foil. Spray this with a light coating of cooking spray. Take 3 shallow plates and put the following…

I weigh out everything too, even peanut butter and Reddi Whip! I found it came in very handy when weighing slices of bread that I bought from Trader Joe's. It's the Rustic Sourdough Loaf and the label reads 80cals for 1 slice (31g). The thing is, not each slice is 31g, with some weighing close to 40grams. So, weigh out…

A cup or small bowl of soup does the trick for me. I buy those packets of Onion Soup Mix or Noodle Soup Mix; just take a tablespoon and mix w/hot water. It's only around 25 calories and very filling.

Cool Whip + Peanut Butter= My 2 favorite food groups  thanks for sharing!

If I don't feel like cooking, I'll heat up one of the Lean Cuisine's in my freezer or that Lean Pocket, way in the back, that probably has freezer burn. Other options are a bowl of cereal w/bananas and almond milk. That doesn't count as cooking, right?
-
Nope, mine was "crumbly" so i must've nuked it too long. I did add the almond milk but nxt time i'll take it out sooner from the microwave. Thanks for posting the picture!

I recently "baked" a bunch of potatoes in the crockpot and have been bringing one to work for my lunch. I have some cucumbers, cheese, a hard boiled egg with it. Also, yogurt, string cheese, dried soup mix make great snacks at work.
-
I made this for breakfast today but think I messed up on the cooking time. Is it supposed to look like a "souffle"? When I was nuking it I noticed it pouffed up really nicely, this was about half-way into the first cooking time and I let it cook til 4minutes, per directions. By this time however, everything seemed to just…

Great, will be making this tomorrow for breakfast :)

Sliced hardboiled egg on wholegrain protein toast with cream cheese :)
