  • most apples are between 80-100 calories. small/ medium are about the size of a tennis ball and med/large are closer to a softball. Apples are my favorite diet snack, so much healthier than all those 'snack packs'.
  • Estimations are fine, I try to keep it all correct, but sometimes the info just isn't available. Its better to put something down and keep on track rather than ignoring a meal- it tends to derail the day. 100 calories in either direction won't make a huge difference on those occasional meals.   • I toss a cup of frozen berries, 1 cup pof water, a scoop of whey protein powder and some stevia (calorie free sweetener) into a blender and blend till smooth. I love them, and try to have one within an hour of my workout 3 days a week. roughly 220 cal depending on your protein powder and berry choices
