Any variation of why are you on a diet black girls aren't supposed to be/can't be as skinny as white girls anyway.

I believe it! I didn't care for the coconut Greek styled yogurt either, and I love the regular coconut yogurt (definitely my favorite). I also do not like O'Soy one bit. So Delicious Cultured Coconut Milk Yogurt and Wholesoy are definitely my favorites.

When going to vocal auditions, I now get comments about how "tiny" I am and actually get asked if I'm a dancer or how many years of dance experience do I have.

Generally this is how I eat (I am your height but about 15 lbs bigger than you, but this is how I eat at 1500 cals): Breakfast: Whole grain cereal with almond milk OR veggie egg white omelet with avocado or reduced fat cheese, both with coffee and two tablespoons of creamer, preferably Silk vanilla Lunch: Salad with half…

I haaaaaaate that our people can think being fit is "a white thing." I had little support from my AA friends on my journey and would just work really hard on hiding it or bringing it up.

Sometimes I'm not hungry on my period, sometimes I'm super hungry on my period. When it was the latter, then my goal was just to eat under maintenance. I wasn't on a time crunch to lose weight, so one week out of four maintaining did not seem like a big deal (usually I'd just eat around maintenance two of the days and be…

I decided to up my cals gradually. I was eating 1200-1300 for 2 lb a week weight loss, and my maintenance according to MFP is 1750. I am now eating 1500 for the next month and seeing what happens. I'll post back then with an update!

Thanks for all the advice guys! I'm thinking the best thing for me is to add calories slowly so that I can monitor more closely

This made my day. Thanks so much for your encouraging words!

I'm only tempted to binge when I go out. But because of that, I always plan my day around it. I'll eat oatmeal or an egg white omelet with onions, tomatoes, avocado, and spinach for breakfast and a salad for lunch. And drink water like it's my job. My stomach can't handle binges like it used to, so I go pretty fiber heavy.…

You all are so sweet! Thanks so much for the advice, everyone! I think I'll enjoy the maintenance life for a little and focus on strength and fitness like most of you have suggested and then see how I feel in a month or two :)

I'm definitely not the most clean person in the world, but it's always my aspiration/guideline of my everyday diet. The first time I tried to lose weight, I just tried living in the gym and cutting calories. I succeeded, but I gained it all back the next year. When I tried the second time, I did a lot of research on clean…

This is exactly what I needed this week! Thank you for posting!

For breakfast, egg and cheese (or eggwhite and cheese) mcmuffin and a nonfat flavored latte. Other than that, generally small fries. I used to do snack wraps, but I'm getting sick of them. And regular cheeseburgers no pickle.

People are annoying from the journey onward. Only my family and my boyfriend were supportive of my calorie counting and regularly going to the gym. Every time I went out with friends and would try to calculate before I ordered, they'd go, "Oh my GOD, Tiara, just eat!" And then after losing the bulk of my weight, people…

I don't know what ingredients from the artificial sweeteners gave you headaches, so be careful with certain Stevia brands if you go that route. http://www.eatingrules.com/2011/10/stevia/

Agreed. Some sort of balance is also valid, but many often would rather support the extremes

1200. I'm 5'2.75 and 118 lbs. My activity level varies because I'm an actress, and one minute I can be in "Hairspray" where I'm dancing nonstop and another I could be in "Les Mis" where only one number has a little marching haha. So I stick with "lightly active" because I do light cardio 3-5 days a week and am taking baby…

I started at a size 8-10, mostly 10 in pants 8 in dresses, but now I straddle the 4-6 range for everything just depending on the brand. I'd be happy being a solid 4
