The first time was in high school when I hit double digits in pants size. The second time was after college when I wanted to lose 5 lbs and get healthier for my acting career, which actually resulted in a 15 lb weight loss

1750 was recommended, but I gained 5 lbs. So I'm back at my deficit (3 lbs to go!) and am going to try 1500 for maintenance. Honestly, though, sometimes I'm not the best logger, so I wouldn't be surprised if I was going over 1750 more often than eating exactly that

That was my big shocker too! Specifically for me a pumpkin white hot chocolate with skim and no whip ... I knew it would be a lot, but at 400+ calories I nearly fainted. Lettin me down, Wawa!

Haha I live by this ... I don't want any jiggling whatsoever, so I buy as tight as I can.

I reset my goal for maintenance and pray.

115 is the lowest I've seen myself in my adulthood, and I was pretty happy there. I feel like somewhere between 110 and 115 is where I need to be 5'2.75 35-27-37

It doesn't work for me personally. Back when I didn't count fruits and veggies, I had lots of calories "leftover" that I would use on cookies and whatnot. I was losing 2 lbs a month eating on a 2 lb a week deficit. Once I counted the produce in and eating actually at my deficit, the pounds came off the way they were…

5 lbs at minimum

MFP gave me 1750 for maintenance when I was 115 lbs. When I ate that regularly, I went back to a 118-120 range, so my maintenance cals are low too. You aren't alone

I'm the same way as you. I live by KrissyMuree's suggestion.

Agreed. Squats get all the glory, but deadlifts also lead to great results. Also the stairmill is a good way to work on your booty as well as get cardio in.
-
For me personally, as long as I don't exceed my daily calorie allowance, I'll lose the weight. How I handle carbs, protein, fat, ect is more of a nutritional thing than a weight loss thing. But I know everyone is different.

Oooooh, okay, I was wondering how updated workouts worked when there have only been two DVDs and a few actually Beach Babe seasons. Thanks for answering that for me!

I was in that spot exactly a few months ago. Now I'm like how did I ever eat less?! You'll adjust slowly :) . Just eat what you can. Don't make yourself uncomfortable.

I agree with hip thrusts, donkey kicks, dead lifts, and adding weights! Also I recommend leg lifts on your sides too so you get all angles of the booty :)

I'm not a TIU member (yet), but I have followed the workouts they post on YouTube for the past year now and am finally in a financial place where I can buy the plan! Before I do though, I was wondering, do the workout DVDs like Beach Babe come with your purchase of the plan or are those separate?

I agree with all of these suggestions. Olive oil, nuts/nut butter, avocados, and bananas are definitely some tasty ways to increase calories. And maybe have a snack between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner, like a banana or yogurt or nutrition/granola bar. And even with that, you may still be able to sneak in a…

Kashi and Cascadian Farms are my favorite brands. I can get my favorite types of cereals, but organic. Mine and my sister's favorites right now are Strawberry Fields and Vanilla Island

I'm definitely feeling you on the new clothes struggle. I went to FL recently and had to stick with tank tops and my one pair of shorts that I bought recently because all of my summer clothes make me look like a bag lady. I just raid clearance racks from the typical young adult stores like Forever21 and Charlotte Russe, or…

I'm interested as well.
