good luck!! I'm taking my mom to dinner on Sunday, already know she wants pho, which is a vietnamese noodle dish...::sigh:: I have already put it in my mind that I will NOT get noodles, I will just get beansprouts...hope my willpower holds strong on Sunday!

HIYA! I added you back. To be honest, I'm probably not going to be able to do a LOT of the challenges she proposes. But, I figure it's something to keep my mind on working out, and if I'm trying to slack, it'll motivate me to get back in the gym. lol My goal is to MAKE MOVES in May...both on the scale and in my life. :)

i like the quest bars, they're the only ones i've been able to find that are low carb and high fiber. i personally don't like protein bars and have not tried a lot, but the quest bars in the microwave for like 30 seconds? amazing!!!

I like this post because so many people don't understand the struggle when they've not been in our shoes of being overweight. I've found people say things like 'you're going to be skin and bones' as a compliment, and do not understand the message it conveys. I think the goal of being 'fit' is the underlying goal for anyone…

I ordered the Fat Fasting book by lara carpender, looking forward to getting it so i can revamp this diet! Was it sustainable when you tried it? Do you think doing it every month or so should do the trick?

Hey Kim! I'm getting married in December and am also 'sweating for the wedding' !!! I want to lose about 90 more lbs (best case scenario) before my wedding..I've lost almost 50 lbs so far and got so much more to go!!! Maybe we can be an inspiration to each other and motivate!!!
