I'm right there with you. I'm always wondering how much I have to lose before I can look at myself and say "ok I'm not fat anymore." Losing weight isn't as hard as losing the thought process of "I'm fat so I don't deserve _____." I wish I knew how to be normal in my mind, lol.

I thought if I lost weight I'd have a much better time getting guys. That has not been the case! I can't get a date to save my life, lol. I think (I hope) confidence matters more than being skinny. The overweight women I know have great husbands/boyfriends, because they're confident and secure in themselves. Not being…

I do notice if I sit for long periods of time, I sometimes get dizzy for a second when I stand up. Stupidly enough I never thought to move around a bit before standing up - I will from now on! Thanks!

1. You have to want to lose weight. It sounds dumb to say, I guess, but it's like anything. I need to quit smoking but don't want to, so I haven't. 2. I focused my goals on 10-lb increments. Once I hit 279, I focused on 269, etc. 10 lbs is much easier to think about than 120. 3. I cooked several days' worth of food at a…

Congrats on your amazing progress! I just wanted to say that you CAN do it. Sometimes it gets overwhelming to think about all those pounds, so I just focused on the little goals, like getting into the 270's, then 260's, etc. Good luck & I know you can achieve your goal!

Ugh...my stepmom used to tell me "you'd be so pretty if you just lost some weight!" I think these people have insecurities and are trying to feel better about themselves by making you feel bad. Negative comments do nothing, because if someone gains weight obviously they notice it. You are beautiful, and I hope one day you…

Fiber One 80 calorie cereal - I mix it with Greek yogurt. Also the southwest chicken salad at McDonald's (without the tortilla strips). Kraft low-fat Toasted Asian Sesame dressing...I put it on everything!

You look fantastic and I bet you feel even better! Congratulations!

Mine went from 43.6 to 25.8, which is still overweight and very annoying! But I try not to put too much trust in those things. :)

We all need motivation! Feel free to add me. :)

Hello! I've lost 111 lbs in about 9 months...what really did it for me was cutting out sugar and red meat, and drinking lots of water. I also started eating REALLY high fiber breakfasts and walking/running 4 or 5 times a week. I consistently lost 3-4 lbs a week. Now I've got about 10 lbs to go and they are VERY hard to get…

Congratulations! :) Such a great feeling!

WOW! You look amazing! Congrats on all your hard work. It definitely paid off! :)

Welcome! The carb craving will go away eventually! :)

Wow! You look amazing - congratulations!! :)

I'm 5'9" and 178, I'd like to get down to 160 or so. The biggest and most rapid drop in weight happened when I really started watching my salt intake and drinking a lot of water. Also, switching up my exercise routine made a huge difference! Good luck!

I try not to focus too much on my BMI (even though I did celebrate when I got my BMI under 30). I'm 5'9 and 186, according to the chart I should weigh 128 - 169. I think 169 is a bit high, but 128?? WTF? I would look like Skeletor and you would too!!

Before I was 280/size 24, I'm 186 and a size 12 now. I may actually have the confidence to start dating again. :p

Amen to that! Goodbye obesity, knee problems, "fat girl" clothing stores, and future diabetes!

Sodium is lurking in everything, in mass quantities.

Ok this is pretty cheesy, but "Today My Life Begins" by Bruno Mars is my semi-motto. No matter what I ate or didn't eat yesterday, or if I skip a workout, every morning is a chance to start again! It motivates me when I get discouraged at still having such a chunk of weight to lose. :ohwell:

I've noticed I can't tolerate greasy things or stuff high in fat (all I taste is oil). Same with soda; it just tastes like syrup. I don't eat salty foods anymore but I consider it a blessing that our taste buds adjust! Makes it easier to stay on track. :)

Y'all are so nice and encouraging!! Sorry to the Iowa folks - I'm from Texas.
-
Thanks everyone! I still have 20 - 25 pounds to go to not be "overweight" and it's coming off sooo slowly now. Baby steps to 175!

Yikes mine too. Went from a DDD to BARELY D. Aside from missing my assets, the results are...not awesome. Deflated balloons. :(

Yes! I've lost more on my right side. It's especially noticeable (to me, anyways) in my stomach/sides. I'm glad I'm not the only one! I

My sister has tried it & said it whipped her into shape & really toned her stomach. That being said, she was slim to begin with & just wanted to tone. I'm not sure how it would work on someone flabby like me!

Looks great! I love cauliflower & am amazed at how many creative ways it can be used in recipes. Thanks!
