  • Do they allow you to schedule just like that? (I mean they must, since she did... but...) I have known a few people to get surgeries and they were required to keep food journals and exercise for an extended period beforehand- and then go to counseling as well. After they had lost weight so rapidly that they had sagging fat…
  • To give you some background on Zumba- it's based on I think 4 different basic dance styles. To be called Zumba they have to do a certain % of those moves per class and can add in a certain % of their own songs/moves. With that said, I have been to different instructors and heard the same song and done different moves. If…
  • Sent you a request~ Currently around 252 after having my first baby...would love to be about 135-140, but my first goal is 10% (so 225) and the next big goal would be 199!
  • I am selfish too.... Matthew McConaughey (but not Dallas Buyers Club version- How to Lose a Guy version) Charlie Hunnam Johnny Depp Tyson Beckford
  • Cheese (Love Cabot-unless they don't have it) Milk (Oakhurst is the best) La Croix sparkling water Chocolate! -Toilet Paper and Q Tips for me too! (We had cheapo Q Tips at one point and the tip fell off in my sister's ear- she wasn't happy!)
  • Hi there! I am also EBF and having a hard time figuring out calories. Twins? You go girl :)
  • Your story is similar to mine- whenever I look at a photo I think, "Wow I look worse than I thought!" I am 5'5" and 252 pounds. (Just gave birth to our first baby 9 weeks ago and am 6 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight- yuck!)
  • You look amazing! Beautiful family!
  • Wow, great work!
  • You look great! I have a similar start weight and hope to get to at least 150 by then end of it! (I am only 5'5")
  • You were beautiful before, and even more gorgeous now! And I LOVE your dresses!
  • I would love to join you as well! I need to cut my sugar... was gluten free for awhile and have fallen off the wagon in the last 2 weeks. Am getting back on it though- I feel so much better without it! Can we also join you on your vacation :)
  • So sorry to hear of your loss. Make sure you take the time you need to heal and grieve- don't pressure yourself otherwise you may always feel discouraged and that won't help you attain your goals. Make sure you take the time to enjoy being with your family- don't worry about chores for a night- take a walk together, go out…
  • Feel free to add me too!
  • Haha, that was my Friday night last week and everyone saw it! I still lost weight too- I think wine may be a secret weight loss drink :)
  • Yolk! It's the most nutritious part, like most people said, everything in moderation.
  • I try to eat pretty low carb, but don't most of the food on this list. (Basically I avoid gluten and eat a lot of vegetables, protein, fats, etc.) If you want to know more about eating low carb I enjoyed reading Wheat Belly, although I am not following it precisely- sometimes I just want something with gluten. I can tell…
  • You can add me! I am pretty similar (right now 236, 5'5")... I have been eating about 1310 calories, plus eating back most of my exercise calories. I am thinking about upping it like one of the above posters mentioned. I can't say I am a model of success (10.5 pounds since 1/1)... plus gaining and losing probably 20 of the…
  • Ah yes! Chocolate, steak tips and brie... my husband usually looks at me like I am a crazy person because I want it all at once!
  • We have a 9 year old Lhasa Apso named Asia who could care less about our affection unless it's in the morning- she loves to get up early or if we are cooking and she's worried about the smoke detector going off (her hearing is very sensitive.) Otherwise she is very independent and stubborn (and loves to turn her head at me…
  • That's what we are having for dinner tonight! We make them 2 different ways (sorry I don't have measurements): Brown some ground beef with garlic and onions, (add black beans and corn if you feel like it) fill in a hollowed out pepper half and bake with cheddar on top -or- Saute some garlic and onions, mix with slices of…
  • We are doing Ripped in 30 right now and are enjoying (if that's the right word for Jillian inflicting pain :) ) I am not sure if Shred is easier or harder than Ripped? I definitely notice I am a lot stronger! Your results are amazing!!!!!!
  • That is such an amazing accomplishment! Congratulations! You will be a beautiful bride!
  • Well, I am not the most successful MPF person... but oops, I just drank a whole bottle of white wine. I am still within my calories if I use my exercise ones. I have found when I don't drink or eat sugar (except in a few pieces of fruit) I lose the most weight, but you can drink moderately and still have success.
  • This is awesome, thank you so much! Sorry for my non-technical terms... Since 1/1 I have been working out, eating gluten free (although I really need to cut sugar), doing Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 (since maybe the 3rd week in Jan) and I have noticed that I feel more muscles, I am stronger, my clothes fit better... but…
  • Love the dress already! We have been doing Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 and I am seeing toning going on that I haven't seen before- maybe give that a try? Either way, you look great1
  • You look amazing! I often feel like it will never happen for me, but a story like yours tells me to keep pushing! Way to go!
  • I have heard that taking Bee Pollen Granules is good for you- never heard of the pill. The granules you actually get at a health food store are supposed to be very high in vitamins and considered a super food. My father in law has bee hives and he extracts from the hive. I have heard it gives you more energy which could…
