You were smart enough not to keep running to prevent an injury. That's great. In terms of keeping going, even if you sit while watching tv and "dance" your upper body with music on. I'm 5'3". Currently, I'm 149 lbs. I was 172 lbs just a few years ago. My goal would be to reach 140 lbs to start with. That would make it a BMI of 24.8, making it the healthy range. Ultimately, it's not the weight I'm after. It's how I feel that makes the difference.

I'm a night person yet the most effective time for me to exercise is 1st thing in the morning. Get it over with, before other things get on my list of to dos. I feel good to get it done. By the end of the day, afternoon or evening - I'm too tired, come up with too many excuses to not do it.

My goal is to regain the muscle, strength, and feeling strong I had few years ago & couple that with the new weight range I'm in now which is 20 lbs lighter than I was 3 yrs ago.
