Looking for inspiration!! Add me :)

I'd be interested to know this as well. What I've done since I wasn't sure, put in the correct food/size and delete the incorrect item.

I love all these ideas... I do try to check in, am I thirsty? Am I bored? How long has it been since I've eaten a meal? Then I try to have a talk with myself - "don't do something you'll regret later", or remember how you'll feel after you indulge in something not healthy, i.e. stomach ache, guilt, etc.

Anxious to learn more and get started with MFP, former Sparkpeople

Thank you, I'll check that out!

Wonderful! Thanks!

I know it's been a while since anyone posted in this thread, but I just recently took MFP seriously and decided to check out the community. I love podcasts and always interested in hearing recommendations! Right now I've been listening to Dy Ann Parham, about intermittent fasting, (youtube mostly), also Huberman Lab (…

Since this particular group is inactive on the subject of intermittent fasting, does anyone know a better, more active group on this subject?

I have been wanting to make my own sauerkraut but it seems daunting!! Thanks for this link!

I tried too... the link doesn't work. :(

I'd never bought any PP before so did some homework. I found out for the price and taste - Optimum Nutrition is wonderful!! I got milk chocolate flavor and absolutely love it. it feels like cheating. If you go on the GNC website they have a certain price, and then if you go into their store - the store price is quite a bit…

Yes, everyone has essentially said something different. Very interesting. There obviously is no right or wrong answer. I'm looking to lose about 15 pounds, and I think calorie deficit is the most important for that. Thanks for all the responses!!

You must be consuming the "good" fat in order to get 60% and still lose body fat. That's sort of hard to wrap my head around.

I find that printing out a blank monthly calendars and writing what I'm going to do each day really works. I have a Total Gym at home and free weights. I work my upper body twice a week (2 days rest) and lower body between 1 and 2 times (2 days rest in between) and then do cardio on days off. If you're new to lifting and…

I am in love with Optimum Nutrition whey protein - milk chocolate mixed with 8 ounces of fat free milk is heavenly!! Put it in a shaker and it tastes like you're cheating - better than Nestle's!!! 24 grams of protein per scoop - plus what's in the milk!!

I have a question about the challenge - at least with the squats. Aren't you supposed to have a rest day for 24 hours (like do squats or leg exercises every other day) ? Everything I've read you're supposed to give muscles a 24-48 hour rest so the muscles can repair and build. I'm wondering if this challenge is a good idea…

Chobani - Pineapple is my 1st choice and Oikos (any flavor) is my 2nd. I think Kroger brand Carbmaster is my 3rd choice. Vanilla and I add cinnamon to it!

Are you staying anywhere that has a kitchen? Maybe you can buy some bread and lunch meat, or salad thing, soup, etc and make 1 to 2 of your meals, and then eat out sensibly for supper. Maybe where you're staying might have access to a grill; you could buy chicken or fish, and veggies. Those taste great and are helpful. We…

I was right on track today on calories, and then I read these posts about PB... now I have to exercise off 2 Tbs worth... it's so great!!

Oh, I love this idea! Disney World would be a great place for me to track, I live in Ohio and it says that will be 972 miles. It may take me a while but I'll get there!

I am 50 years old and my doctor told me I'm getting really good nutrients from my diet and all I really need to take is Calcium citrate and a B complex vitamin, so I take only those 2 - two times a day. I believe the B complex gives me energy!!
