Pretty much! I could notice a change in my legs (had a bigger space between my thighs, which is where most of my loss happened), and I did lose around 10lbs too. But a lot of it was water weight. It can all depend on your body type as well (with the fit of clothes), and where the weight's coming off. Weight loss happens,…

He's an "online personal trainer", apparently with a program for men. I've personally stayed the same weight/pants size before. But I did lose inches. In one month of working out several years ago, I lost over seven inches across my body. A measuring tape, and logging measurements every now and then is a great gauge of…

I thought using my jean size would be the same as measuring. I mean if I have lost in my waist the jeans should be loose right? Just wondering what is happening to seem to be getting smaller but with no actual weight loss and jean size the same but if you can recommend where and how often to measure I will try it or a link…

I do feel good about myself! :) That is the most important thing. Just wondering what is happening to seem to be getting smaller but with no actual weight loss and jean size the same.

I don't think I really need to kickstart / or change anything. I feel great! I lift at least 3x per week, walk at least 30 minutes to 1 hour daily, & do HIIT once a week. I was just wondering if I was loosing all over or maybe in areas that wouldn't effect my clothing size? I mean people are telling me how I look as if…

I never measure over the top like that and that is exactly why I don't eat back all my exercise calories, I had hoped the difference would cover any mistakes. But STILL I am a little shocked how much of a calorie difference is in that little bit over the rim.

Yes I did reset with MFP when I had a loss.

Thank you for the link. I always thought generic meant the brand. I do use homemade entries but they are mine as I cook for 6 so I almost always cook at home.

I am sorry that wasn't very clear as to what I was asking. Thank for this information. That is very helpful. If you do not mind answering one more question, what is a real plan you would suggest?

Sorry site went down for maintenance while I was replying so some of the responses are very out of order.

Thanks for all the replies. I don't have the best internet connection today so I'll put everything in just this one post. I am following a program that the coaches at my local Y handed out. It didn't however, specify when to increase weight or reps. I didn't know which one is best to do or why. I get very conflicting…

Not really what I was asking but thanks for the replies.

If someone doesn't know about lifting, how can they be sure the advice they are getting even from trainers is good advice? I have noticed at my local Y where I lift weights, all the coaches seem to tell people to do things different and when they do their personal workouts they are lifting different from how they told some…

Not really. It's an over all feeling. Tried extra water and it helped some.

See above. (sorry I can't seem to keep the quote & reply together.) Wow! I had no idea. I've been trying to stay at 1200 or 1400.

I went here too. It had my BMR at 1600 & Calories based on goal as over 2000! How can that be right?
