SW-Feb-205 Feb-196 Mar-192 Mar-191 Apr-185 Apr-185 Been at the same weight for a month now. No inches loss elsewhere. Really hoping to get over this stall soon.

Thanks everyone. I makes me feel better to know others have been in similar situations. I am heading away on a trip this weekend with my family, so I will just prepare with lots of snacks and keto on.

My mom has struggled with weight issues her entire life. Dad has some pudge, but is no means obese. That very well could be it. My sister took up crossfit, and my mom told her how gross she is going to look when she has muscles.

I'm making a honest effort to only give my son one treat this year...the rest will be non-food related items. I know he will get a ton from his grandparents...and hopefully eat it while there so I'm not tempted. Cream Eggs make my life complete....or DID.

I made my own cereal that was pretty darn good. I also don't like sweet for breakfast, so I didn't add sugar: I toasted sunflower seeds, pecans, coconut in coconut oil. Added some butter and let it cool. Served it with almond/coconut milk blend. So good and crunchy!

My mom always went between telling me I needed to watch my weight and that I would grow out of it. I'm 31, and I'm just getting a grasp on my weight now. I wish we would have eaten better growing up. My kiddo's issues are around junk. Daycare feeds him junk. Grandparents feed him junk-my mom equates food to love. He had…

I did the same thing when walking by a glass store front-I did a double take at my front profile! I don't own any floor length mirrors, so I'm thinking if I had one, I would see more results.

I have days where I eat more protein, and some days with more fat. Somedays I come under on everything. I have been consistently losing weight. Even overeating protein or fat is better than what I ate before, and my body loves me for it :)

We have 3 catered lunches at work a week. I find out what they are going to be the day before, and then decide if I'm bringing my own lunch in, or eating at work. Most times, I bring my own food. No one has questioned it. The only time someone was critical of my food was at my parents, when my dad gave me hell for eating a…

A girlfriend cleaned out her closet and handed me down a bunch of size 14 and 12 clothing. I've been an 18/16 for years. I reluctantly tried things on, and the 14 fit! The 12 will fit soon. I don't think I've lost much weight (I don't take measurements), but clearly I have!

I totally agree! My mum has struggled with her weight, which means we, as kids, did too. Going to my mum's now, and seeing all the LF items in her fridge, and watching her eat all this sugar laden stuff, while complaining about not losing weight-makes we want to shake her.

Two weeks in, I went to a one day event. I had brought snacks with me, but when I saw their food, I thought "I'll have one bowl of chili, skip the beans, and half a bun." Which then became 'I'll have a handleful of chips" which became half the bag. Then I had mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, stuffing, etc. And a lot of booze.…

This morning I was at 191, from the 195 yesterday. Things are starting to melt away...thank god!

I had the flu on Monday and Tuesday, felt better Wednesday. This likely played into it somewhat, although the DR did insinuate my diet was to blame for the stones and this was a long time coming. She asked what I eat. I took her advice with a grain of salt, as my own research does not link Keto to Kidney Stones.
-
I did have an IV. They said I was dehydrated as hell-I had the flu for 2 days prior to the kidney stones, and didn't keep anything in. I believe it was potassium and saline they dripped into me. Makes sense.

My favourite pair of jeans jeggings are now so loose in the thighs, bum and waist. I used to wear spanx with them...now they don't even fit properly!

I allow myself to take a tiny bite of things my kid or BF are eating from time to time. Homemade cookies, ice cream, etc. It's the tinest bite, and it usually tastes so sweet I don't want any more of it. I can control myself, but I find one bite satisfies me from wanting more.

I've had two this week: Zipping up my winter coat without any struggle (I had to buy XL, and it was tight) AND my bra is doing up on the second row with no back fat hanging over.
-
I have this issue too!

I check my weight before I poop, and after.
-
I round my scale down. If my weight is 195.6, I record 194. It makes me feel better. Also, I weigh myself every night and every morning. If the scale is roughly 2-3 pounds above at night where I want to be in the morning, I know I'm good and feel accomplished.

You can find, albeit more expensive, fractionated coconut oil (melted) at most Loblaws stores.
-
They were out of the curry chicken, so I ended up with the Tom Yum Soup as a large bowl. Its all I have eaten today, so I am hoping I'll stay on track.
-
Thanks everyone. I'll likely bring along a SF vitamin water and some pepperoni or jerky. Then will have some broth and butter once I'm home.
-
I don't have access to a blender at work. I keep a blender bottle (the one with the springy ball inside) and just shake the crap out of the coffee and oils until blended.

I'm not eating for my calories at all, I'm eating for my macros. I've hit or gone over my fat each time. Carbs are usually in line or slightly oven. Protein is the same. I'll keep an eye on it. Maybe it will improve within a week? Till then....sweater and toque, it is!
-
Bingo. Biggest profit margin available. And it's catering to predominantly male crowd who will be physically active during the day. Carbs are their friends!
-
I find this with my SO-usually because they eat what I'm not finishing, or passing up on! :)
-
Thanks everyone! Great suggestions. I'm gonna eat the crap out of that piece of chicken at night :)
