The Blue Bunny Cherrific Cheesecake ice cream is still awesome, so there's that.
I don't think I'll ever be one of those people unless it's the day before my period & I am ravaging my cupboards looking for all the salt.0 -

Honestly back when I could still eat The Tonight Dough it wasn't as good as half baked. Good news for your micro spread I guess though on the positive side!
P.S. Have you tried carrot cake kisses? I have heard good stuff!
I tried Half-Baked when the store was out of The Tonight Dough. I am (or was?) definitely Team Tonight Dough.
I've never tried the Tonight Dough but I always see it. I did pick up 2 boxes of the new handheld pints that they came out with. The reeses and the cookie dough. I haven't tried them yet but I couldn't pass them up...they were calling to me and I'm not even a huge ice cream person just a horrible impulse buyer I guess haha!
Dude you & I both! I could have a cabinet/freezer full of junk food & then go shopping for regular groceries & see a new shiny junk food & it's all over.
Example: Duncan Hines has new mug cakes (four to a pack) & I picked up two boxes of different flavors at Wal-Mart.0 -

Prepare yourself notifications widget, haha !
I confess that I am such a wimp I am giving up my recomposition excuses for lent lol. I hate lifting, I hate losing run time but my body comp needs so much work it is depressing an I can't keep putting it off. Damn you lentttttt!
OMG I love lifting! If I could do it everyday I would.
We need to figure out how y'all can do my lifting and I can do your running haha! I can trail run for 3+ hours and not even think about the time, 15 minutes in the weights area of the gym is like a year- I'm a wuss
The balance between the two is freaking HARD! I tried to do a bit of both when I was training for half marathons, it wasn't feasible to maintain. Some people can do it now issue, I however am not one of those people
Right? You look wonderful in your recent photos you posted though so clearly your ability to prioritize paid out huge!
My issue is that I'm not doing it for the burn/to eat more, I just love to run- I would rather run than do most things- so I know I will never be someone who goes "off running" to recomp/run a bulk (plus I just paid my ultra registration lol). Because I know that I'm gonna have to make it work or accept that my legs look awesome and my stomach decidedly does not
Personally I think you look fine from the pictures on your profile & the ones you have posted in here. When do you run your ultra? I wish my legs at my lightest looked as great as yours. I forget how tall are you?0 -
I am giving up movies for Lent. I watched The Impossible tonight and it was a poor choice, I was bored. Oh well, only 46 days until the next one, lol.
My son also forgot tomorrow is meat free, even though I reminded him ten times in the last few days. So I told him I would buy a veggie pizza tonight, instead of grabbing it at lunch tomorrow, and we could split it.
Then he complained about having to go pick it up.....Dude, I am buying your lunch, suck it up!2 -

Thanks Kelly. Honestly if I could just get my core in significantly better shape I'd be less unhappy with comp overall. My arms and my back are fine, my ab definition just sucks . I think my leg situation is partially thanks to being taller for a woman. Funnily enough until I lost weight I believed I was 5'9" for years- all my recent measurements for my ortho and sports med specialists have been 5'10" so I'm going with late in life growth and taking the inch
First ultra of the season will be August 5 at CDR. Playing with the idea of registering for another in September if all goes well since CDR is my first mountain summit rodeo. I have full and half marathons peppered in there throughout the summer as well...
I'm basically waiting for race season to start already lol1 -

So, like me, your son is not a good Catholic. Even I remember that you can't eat meat on Ash Wednesday. Tomato soup and grilled cheese for dinner tonight.
ETA: I think the good Catholic is a myth. We all screw up something sometimes..2 -
Just Venting: if there are severe storms in my immediate vicinity that could spawn tornadoes, I want my kids in their brick and cinder block school buildings for the duration, not on a school bus racing the storms home. County schools here just announced that they are dismissing immediately because of the severe weather threat.

I have never done movies before, but I watch a lot of movies and go to the theater a minimum of a couple times a months, sometimes almost weekly, and I stream at home a lot, so it actually is quite a sacrifice, lol. When I told a couple of my friends, they both gasped!0 -

I actually do not even consider myself a Catholic anymore. Not for a very long time. I sent my kids to Catholic school, because I wanted them to go to a school that embraced God, but I do not agree with a lot of the teachings of the church. I consider myself a Christian, as in I follow the teachings of Christ, not other "Christians", but I practice Lent as a way to feel closer to Jesus, not because the church told me to.6 -

Mug cake?! On the look out. I have so many snacks and candy! I think it's like a security blanket, I just need it there. I have candy in the freezer from months and months ago but when I want a treat I'll just go out and buy something haha!

Confession: I have a new found obsession for swig sugar cookies I feel like I'm like a sugar cookie connoisseur hahaha they're my favorite type of cookie! Swig cookies are more cakey and less sweet than my first love of Great Harvest sugar cookies which are bigger, firmer, and a ****ton more calories! Don't get me wrong I'll still eat both without a hesitation lol just wanted to put that out there!

Haha we are honestly terrible Catholics atm. We need to start going to church again every week and you know...maybe get our youngest two baptized lol. Our oldest we were so on top of it (we were in the city in a different parish then) that we had her baptized at 6 weeks...my middle girl is 3 and still not done. Bad mama ward for me!0 -
I round my scale down. If my weight is 195.6, I record 194. It makes me feel better.
Also, I weigh myself every night and every morning. If the scale is roughly 2-3 pounds above at night where I want to be in the morning, I know I'm good and feel accomplished.0 -
I check my weight before I poop, and after.2

I weigh myself at night too with the exact same thought as you haha like "nice I'm up this much I know I'm going to be way down tomorrow"1 -
