Girly, ya got this. You kicked cancer's butt, I'm sure you'll do the same with ease for losing those extra pounds.
-
Yep. I would try to eat at least 2000. That way you're eating at least the minimum recommended by the program plus an additional 500 for breastfeeding.
-
Just take it one day at a time, you can do this! I've been getting back on board for years now and I haven't given up yet! :flowerforyou:
-
Gro, you look bomb! Great job keeping it off since you started as well!

As others have said.. I think it would be best to postpone Atkins until after your half. This is something you've been training for for at least 12 weeks, so I think the new diet can wait a week and a half.
-
I do it all the time. But I work out at home.

I feel ya on wearing things that don't let me know I'm gaining weight thing. If I'm at work, I'm most likely either wearing a dress or some stretchy pants, and if I'm at home, I'm wearing comfy clothes, workout attire, or yoga clothes (especially in the colder months). I just can't bring myself to wear pants anymore,…

I'm going to be a cavewoman and my husband is going to be a caveman. We're hosting a Halloween party. I'm sure as the night goes on and I drink more I will change into my Corgi onesy though.

Because I really like food. Like, it tastes really good.

Dollar General Donut Shop Coffee with heavy cream or whole milk. No sweetener. During the colder months I like blueberry coffee, pumpkin coffee, and a mix as well.

Nom, posting so I can come back later.

Wow, you've done so well! You are such a beauty!
-
That is freakin' awesome, and I totally vibe with your reasoning for why body weight strength training is awesome. I'll have to keep checking back for the road map you promised! ;)
-
Bravo, bravo! You look so great and your family is beautiful as well. Well done! :drinker:

How about trying to net just 1200? Most of your entries say you burn 400-500/day and you eat less than 1200 so you're netting around 5-600.. so.. yes.. you do need to eat more to fuel your body. Or you could just wreck your metabolism.

I think you'll be satisfied with PiYo for strength training. Most people underestimate the strength exercises like yoga actually take. Just make it into week three and I promise you'll see and feel results. I'm in week 3 right now.

Also, check out www.fitlivingfoodies.com for Alex Navarro's site.. she is a CNS-er and has an e-book with over 100 low carb recipes. Made her bacon wrapped meatloaf (on the site) last night and it was amazeballs.

For carb nites you are supposed to stay away from fats.. i.e. for dinner eat chicken breast with white rice and potatoes, for dessert have some cookies, donuts, or turnovers, and then at the end of your carb nite you can have a high fat treat if you'd like.
-
YES. Keifer even states in his books and posts that the carb nite has to be low fat. So if you only eat pizza, ice cream, etc., (read: carbs with fats in them) then it won't work right. you need to stick to high carb low fat carbs, i.e. rice, potatoes, donuts, turnovers. I believe he says if you would like to have a treat…
-
Look up carb nite. Or if you don't want to read, refeed with carbs one night a week.. like a lot. Just once a week though for about 4-6 hours.
-
Yes, just try to avoid going upside down.

Power yoga, no joke. Check out apytv.com...it costs a lil but, but it's awesome. Or for free, search for power yoga on youtube.
