I love running in the rain. The harder you work, the hotter you get, which makes the rain a welcome source of relief to me. I agree with the person who said she'd run in anything but wind. I'll do it, but I don't like it. Good for you for running!

Are you eating any of the calories you earn from exercising? That might add a few hundred calories that you could put towards a more filling evening snack. I eat a bag of popcorn every night, and try to make those calories come from my workouts. Just a thought...

Sometimes you have to get a little creative and find the class that most closely matches. I got a heart rate monitor and just manually enter the calories burned, so that might be an option as well.

I have been struggling with my last five pounds for an embarrassing number of weeks now. I seem to drop weight pretty easily until I'm within five of my goal weight, then I just bounce all over the place. I'm running the half for the third time, although I'm doing my training in Denver. It is a fun, fun race! Good luck with the fully monty!

I can relate. I've been doing really well also and then yesterday hit. I binged last night and am having to claim the calories today, which is not fun. It is hard and upsetting, but just a small crash in what has otherwise been a successful journey. Let's figure out what's going on emotionally, then get our bearings back.…
