I got stuck in a UK size 16 dress in a Forever 21 changing room and then spent over 20mins pulling myself out of it... resulting in a small tear on the arm and many tears from me. I was distraught, but luckily nobody seemed to notice as I shamefully snuck out. I was trying to buy a dress for my work Christmas party. I…

I have no space in my house and the only place I can do Insanity is either my living room or my dining room (if I move the table and chairs!). -My family are always in and get up very early, I have two young sisters who get up early (naturally, and for school). Because of this I have been waking up at 5.30am to fit my…

Perhaps you could try and change your long walks to running? Maybe start a c25k program to get you started. That way you're outside not disturbing anyone and it is free.

Do you have old clothes that you don't fit into? Have you ever googled what 40lb of fat looks like... this is a great visual tool to see how well you've done! Also, in my own experience I had to learn that my weight and my self esteem were two different things. Previously before I lost weight I thought I was unhappy…

Melt a small amount of dark chocolate and dip the fruit into it. It will feel like you're eating more chocolate than you are, it tastes great and you still have a healthy fruity treat! :)

This depends, what about the guys?

I've been whistled at, clicked at and demanded... I don't mind customers who are on the phone who still make the effort to have some sort of polite contact with you, but some are just down right rude. I agree, cashiers are people earning a living- they do not deserve your crap!

It depends on what your goals are ... for pure weight loss everyone is right, you can eat basically whatever you want. The thing I learnt about doing it that way was that I suddenly wanted to eat better because it meant that I could eat much much more. I'm now looking on getting leaner and lowering my body fat percentage…

Congrats! It was such a break through for me to get through the emotional barrier of 'oh well I f*cked up anyway!' Also- I'm so glad people have said about catching themselves eating, I have younger siblings (much younger, 2 and 4) and always caught myself finishing off their food or having a little bit of their treats.…

I think I'm going to brave it and up my calories, I want to do this properly (and I like food!). I might invest in a heart rate monitor to see if I'm really eating right. Thank you for your help on my posts, after the last one I did a preliminary fit test yesterday before I start properly on Monday and I actually managed…

I can run a mile but I seem to have next to no upper body strength. Hmmmm... might have to look into something like 30DS

Firefly... Watching Serenity killed me. </3

I don't know but BUMP - I'd like to understand how this works too (and if it would work for me lol!)

Thank you for your help, I should have stuck to it better.. checking in for June!

I'm at university, and I'll admit a regular drinker... On the days that I know I'm going out I preplan my meals, and often my drinks (also usually make sure I have spare for extra) I try to keep track of everything, and usually make sure that I jog/ workout in the morning of that day to boost what I have burnt. If you…

5'7... I'll brave it!

My boyfriend of three years has never seen me this small, but saw me at my highest weight (that I know of I think it might have been higher at some point). I think it is all about confidence and self-esteem. Before I hit my highest weight and before last September I was bigger than I am now but I was ok with it, I was…

I'm interested!!

Thank You! My scale says 19.5% but looking at pictures of women at that percentage I'd say I'm a lot higher... this calculator says 24% which is a pretty significant difference!
-
Just gotta keep truckin' then I guess :') Also, does anyone know where I can/ how I can measure my BF% accurately? My scales do it but I don't think they're right!
-
Thank you so much for your support! I'm really inspired by what you guys said about making non-weight based goals. I still can't really do a proper push up, I've signed up to do a 5K in a few months and I did my first kettlebell workout yesterday and loved it so I think I'm going to try and ignore the scales a little and…

I can get student rates at the Gym but the year is almost over and I'd have to pay for extra time that I wouldn't be using... or pay a fortune to go each time. I'm going home in June though so am looking to start there because I'll get my moneys worth...

Can I join? Feel like I could do with some support this month!

I don't have a gym membership but I'm half way through the 30 Day Shred and bought hand weights cheaply... before I had hand weights I used full water bottles. You can do it! I'm a student in a tiny room and I make it work :)

Thank you so much for all of your help. I've put my calories up and changed my macro's to the percentages you said. I' will stick to the percentages as I slowly up my calories. I also watched the video, which was a great inspiration. I'm now going to start focusing on my body fat percentage and measurements more so that…

What did you use to work out your body fat percentage? My scales say they do it but I don't know how accurate that reading is...
-
I think I'm going to put up my calories gradually to try and help my body get used to it...
-
I'd say probably lightly active because it is so varied...I'd like to reduce my body fat percentage, like you said without getting bulky (not going to happen anyway!) but to be strong and I know that isn't going to happen with 1200 a day but I know that unless I see results I will be conscious of wanting to go back to…
