This week's NSV ---- to keep from losing my wedding ring, I had to buy a ring guard. I have lost so much weight that my formerly fat fingers are no longer fat. Once I reach my goal and stabilize, I will get my ring sized.

Congratulations!! This is no tiny tiny victory. It is a big victory and you should be proud of yourself. “The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.” ~William Faulkner

What a great inspirational story!! Go hottie go!! I love jeans and am excited that this weekend I am going to buy a new pair (or two) in a smaller size. Keep up the good work and continue to enjoy the new experiences that come along with your new knees and body.

Please know your honest and sincere post is such an inspiration!! Congratulations on your new body. I hope you enjoy every one of the new adventures that your new body takes you on. Being a typical female, I had several sizes of clothes in my closet, when I started the journey back down to a normal size. My husband kindly…

This .... plus, buy a food scale and use it. For me, making the time to cook my meals with as many fresh ingredients as possible, then packing them in single servings makes all the difference in the world. If a healthy option is readily available, I am less likely to grab something unhealthy. Also, if the serving size is…

Congratulations!! You have every right to be happy and proud!! Way to go!!! The weight hasn't been right on my license in the last few years. Right now, it says 185 lbs, but the picture was probably me--when I was about 225 with a double chin. It still isn't right, but good news--now it's too high. Woo-hoo!! When…

I don't know you, but as a mom and grandmother.......I am so proud of you. That is the best NSV that I have heard in a long time. I hope you write your NSV down or print your post. It will be the best motivation to refer to, when you have a tough day, as you continue your journey. Keep dancing!!!

When my husband and I married, I had every kitchen appliance imaginable----except a rice cooker. My husband is Chinese/Filipino, so guess what he had----a rice cooker, of course. Over the years, I have learned to appreciate his rice cooker almost as much as my slow cooker and pressure cooker. These sites should give you a…

I have three: (1) I got rid of more "fat" clothes which is always a great feeling, (2) put on size 12 skinny jeans and they fit with no muffin top and (3) saving the best for last, this morning, my son said, "you are really looking good", then he followed me into the other room where his father was and said, "have you…

Love this!! The weight hasn't been right on my license in the last few years. It still isn't right, but now it's too high. Woo-hoo!! When travelling recently, a TSA agent suggested I get a new license, because I no longer look like my picture. Note: TSA always looks at me closely, because I'm a white girl with a very…

I confess I workout at home in my jammies. I figure it's not worth creating extra laundry for myself by putting my jammies and sweaty workout clothes in the laundry.

Checking in at age 45 with 46 to come in just 2 more months. With age 40 came too many life changes for me to keep up with which resulted in more time in the office and no time in the gym. Before I knew it, my normal healthy weight was obese, 120 pounds too much. The first 20 dropped by just walking a few times a week at…

Freak out and panicyes, that was (is) me. When I started, I don't know how much I weighed; I think just under 250 pounds. When I dropped under 200, I hit the panic button and was quickly back at 230. The second time, I got under 200 without a freak out. Just today, I was contemplating being back in a healthy range by April…
