  • I downloaded the free trial but didn't sign up after that - I felt there were enough free workouts on YouTube which were similar to mean that spending that much a month wasn't necessary
  • If you search 'breastfeeding' in the food diary it will come up and gives you the option of negative 300 calories (for a newborn) or negative 500 calories (for an ebf 4 month old or older). You add it to your diary like a food to show negating calories of that amount.
  • In a very similar position - my little boy will be 6 weeks old on Friday. My other son is 17 months old. I have lost 9lb so far, 20lb to go! I'd just got down to target weight last time & got pregnant again! Although put on less this time. I've been trying to eat healthy ish & started using mfp again this last week and…
  • I'm due December 9th with my first. We aren't finding out what we are having...I don't think! Our scan is on the 24th, can't wait to see our little bundle again :-)
  • I feel the same at the moment, generally lethargic and lacking in energy. I have ctually decreased my exercise - last year I was running 100 miles a month plus horse riding or swimming every day. Now I am running 60ish miles a month with the odd strength session but I just can't be bothered with swimming or riding (which…
  • Me too...I love my boobs when I am about 10 pounds above my goal weight - they are about a DD. After I lose weight below that my boobs suddenly shrink before my eyes! :-( So it's just whether I stay a bit above my goal and be happy with my boobs (and not happy with the rest of me!) or get to goal and be happy with my…
  • I am getting married in April and would like to lose half a stone by then. This time last year I was a 16 pounds lighter and at my ideal weight (maybe a tad under it even) so I am annoyed at myself for letting it creep back on, especially with the wedding coming up. I do not want to be worrying about how my chubby arms…
  • I am in a very similar situation - I get married in April, and want to lose 10 pounds before then. I am so mad with myself as this time last year I was 16 pounds lighter than I am now....I can't believe I just let it creep on with the wedding so close.
  • I'm exactly the same, I am exercising alot - ataround an hour fairly vigorous exercise a day, mainly running but also gym work, personal trainer sessions and horseriding at the weekend. I net between 1200 and 1500 calories a day - maybe a bit more at weekends. So far I have put on two pounds!! (not muscle!) I am getting…
  • Thank you everyone....I know a couple of people think I shouldn't have posted here,I am not posting on here to get a reaction, more cos if I speak to friends then a) most of them are his friends too (we have a lot of mutual friends). b) they will change their opinion of him forever. More than anything I just want to get…
  • I only checked his Facebook in response to this happening. I stumbled across the porn thing. I didn;t have trust issues. I do now. the wedding is 11 months away (supposedly) and he has had as many ideas for it and has planned it as much (if not more) than I have. I am not a crazy - weddings / bridezilla type so there is no…
  • I haven't got angry at him at all, I just feel really weary and disappointed. It probably doesn't help that I didn't sleep at all last night really. He is giving himself a hard time, but so he should. I've said we will talk about it after work. I am just gutted because we have been planning our wedding and he has been at…
  • That's the other thing I probably should have mentioned... he really isn't that interested in having much sex with me and my sex drive is much higher than his! Not ideal........
  • I did this on Sunday! Ran it in 4 hours 11 minutes and had the best day ever...the atmosphere was unbelieveable and it was such a great day. It was very hard for the last 4-5 miles but I ran every step of the way and hit my target time so I was (and still am) on a massive high. I felt terrible and amazing at the same…
  • Wishing you all the luck with finding him. Keep us updated.
  • bump to follow Good luck!
  • I am the same. I am now a couple of pounds below what I always considered to be my dream weight (I am 133 pounds now, I always wanted to be 137 pounds when I was bigger) but still I don't feel slim. Everyone tells me I look slim but when I look in the mirror I really can't see any difference. Either I was in denial before…
  • My tips would be to make sure you have rest days (at least 2 a week), join a running club (it will help you improve and it makes it more fun), and always have something to aim towards - the fact you are entering races is great, it gives you a reason to go out running even when it is dark / wet / snowing. I also log all my…
  • I am running London marathon in April next year...it's actually my 2nd marathon but I could still do with the motivation and support so I hope I still count! Long runs start here.......! What sort of running / fitness do you do now?
  • When someone you don't know very well says 'are you naturally slim or do you have to work at it' Someone said this to me last week!!! YAAAAAAAAAY
  • Can I be in too? I did four miles on Tuesday and am going to running club for the first time ever tonight. I am told we will do between 5-7 miles and then I usually do about 10 miles on a Saturday. I'll get a ticker sorted too :-)
  • I am training for a half marathon at the moment (well, actually I am doing 3 half marathons in 4 months) and so far I have continued to lose weight - a pound a week roughly, although I have plateaued at the moment. When I did a full marathon last year though I didn't lose any weight - mainly because I found I was SO hungry…
  • Hi all, Well i did my first half marathon in 6 months on Saunday, I have another three over the next three months, so this was my trial run. My training had gone well but I had only been up to 10-11 miles. On Sunday I went round in 2 hours and 50 seonds which is a PB by over 5 minutes!! (My PB was 2 years old). The route…
  • I am another one who wants something salt after a really long run - and I normally hate salty food so I think it must be related. I find I'm not hungry after a run but the next day I'm starving! I run 3-4 times a week so I tend to be way under my calories on the day I run (because I'm not hungry) but over on the days O…
  • Hey all.... I am doing 4 half marathons in 3 months - the first of which is this Sunday! I am really looking forward to it but the weather is supposed to be terrible (thunderstorms) so I am hoping that is wrong! Then I have one in two weeks time, another at the end of October and the last one is mid November. I don't know…
  • I think you'll most probably be fine - I've done a few half marathons without the best training. Just pace yourself, start slow, drink lots of water and walk if you need to. Most importantly, enjoy it! I wouldn't aim to beat your previous time - use this as a new benchmark and then enter another one to beat it in a couple…
  • Thanks everyone....all really useful advice :-). The multi vitamin is definitely something I need to think about taking - your responses just reminded me that when I was training for a marathon two years ago I was diagnosed as borderline anaemic so perhaps as I am doing more exercise my iron levels are low again? I don't…
  • Thanks everyone - I didn't word it very well did I....I'm not totally stupid, I know a 1lb = 1lb. I meant density / volume of a pound I guess. The pic was good, thank you. I am a newbie so I am sorry if it's been asked loads of times before.
  • Also I meant to say, I did Run to the Beat last year! There was massive delays at the start but other than that it was a good run....and only two hills
  • I am currently training for a half marathon too - Oxford Half at the end of Sept. I have done several before and always ended up the same weight or even putting on weight cos I think I can eat what I like and then I get greedy! This time I am logging all my exercise on MFP (3 runs of 3-5 miles a week and one long run at…
