I'm a slow runner too but in my experience even the fastest runners I've encountered have offered me at least a smile. Don't let your shyness stop you from treating fellow runners!

This sounds like my problem too. I work nights and often have 6-8 hours to kill between waking up and going to work. I usually end up so bored that I sleep most of that time away. I must start looking for distractions outside of the home.

I've never been able to bite into an onion. I don't mind the taste, but if I have to cook with onions, I purée the **** out of them. When I eat out, I just tell people that I'm allergic to them. It saves the hastle.

That makes sense. I'll try for tomorrow's workout. Thanks :)

I don't do detoxes. I've tried in the past and it just led to me binging after a couple of days. Now I'm just trying to drink more water and eat healthy foods most of the time.

Hi there! Feel free to add me (anyone). I log almost daily and my diary is open. I tend to be an emotional eater but I'm really focusing on eating healthy and my exercise. So far, so good...

Keeping a log of everything that I eat and an exercise log really helps me. But most importantly is too have people around me who support me and hold me accountable.

Sleeping became too painful. Acid reflux, aching back and joints and trouble breathing. I got to the point where I dreaded sleeping. It's still bad, but I'm beginning to notice a difference.

I do the same. I'm on 1250 this week because at 1500 I was losing but still eating rubbish. Now I have to earn my rubbish ;)

Hi there. U also suffer from PF but it doesn't really affect my running. I wear a support sock (more a tube really) under my regular sock and it has really helped. I'm in the most pain when I'm resting :(

Feel free to add me. I'm just getting the hang of the social side of MFP but I'm finding it very encouraging.
-
I'll log. I'm curious as to what the numbers will be.

I'm a night owl. I rarely eat before 10 am but no later than midnight. I might have a cuppa after. But I think it's really a matter of what and how much you eat than when. Do you plan your meals in advance? That might help.

I've only quit one book (a Terry Goodkin I think) in recent memory, although I've yet to delete it from my kindle. I keep telling myself that it really can't be that bad and I'll return to it again. I don't like giving up on books. I almost gave up on Priest's Boneshaker because it was sooo slow in the beginning only to…

Feel free to add me too!

Don't forget walking is cardio too.

I'm also a serial re-starter  You are definitely not alone. Good luck!
